Delicious food, both classic Greek dishes
and unusual combinations of flavors such as pork tenderloin with orange cheese sauce with rice and fries! All at reasonable prices! Strongly recommended! 😉
This place has a really nice view but the service was awful. Every time we wanted to order or ask for something we had to wait ages. I ordered a beer and changed to water but the waiter didn’t want to go inside to ask for the change so I got a beer. We were five sitting and they brought only 4 glasses, we asked for the one missing and never arrived, I had to get it myself. At the end we ask for the bill 3 times, never came so we went inside to get it ourselves. Besides the bad service, food was tasty (not a big portion considering the high price) but the taste it was really good. And the view was lovely, you can see the sea and the mountains.
Tourist trap and bad experience!
I thought, despite all the bad reviews, you can’t get wrong with a Greek Salad…well…I was wrong!
The salad (small) had no taste at all, no oil or anything. So I asked for a little bit more of an oil on it. The waiter replied: “That will be 2,-€ more”!!! Have you ever heard about that!!!???
I asked him, if he was joking, because I couldn’t believe it.
I know, 1 liter is around 15,-€, that’s hard on the restaurants, but I didn’t want to drink it.
The garlic bred I ordered with it arrived 10 min after the salad.
So…Zorbas the Greek will rotate in his grave. Hospitality zero!
Btw, I got hooked by the “Happy Hour”, don’t try an Aperol Spritz…it’s a mix drink from the supermarket …
I’m not sure why this place has so many poor reviews. Four of us have eaten here a few times and always enjoyed our food. Let’s be fair, it’s not Michelin rated, but it’s not overly fussy, just good wholesome food at reasonable prices. Mario the waiter is quite funny with a dry sense of humour when you get to talk to him.
1) Even though we made a reservation, they did not have a table available
2) Hair came out of my salmon order
3) The owner of the business showed very rude behavior and got into an argument with each other.
4) Although the overall atmosphere was not pleasant, we left very unhappy and hungry. Unfortunately, I do not recommend it at all.
