  1. Amazing experience staying here! The owner Eva was genuinely a true sweetheart! She is caring and will make your stay as best as possible.
The location is away from the main touristic towns so you can truly enjoy the calmness and the beauty of Santorini. Attractions like- Fira (15min via. Car) and Oia (35min via. Car) Archeological Site of Akrotiri (10min) and, Red, White and Black beaches (10min) are close by.
The hotel is in classic Santorini style houses. They offer a very quick and genuine service. You can add breakfast as well.

  2. Firstly, the good things. The host was very kind and helpful for explaining everything you can visit on the island and about arranging the volcano tour. She contacted us before we arrived to make sure a room is ready for us. They ever provide free to use beach towels if you don’t have one.

That’s where the good thing end. The newly renovated room you see on the pictures (even on booking) is the only one with a renovated bathroom, the other ones have an awfully old and moldy one. The first room they gave us, there was black mold all over the shower and sink and the room smelled old. When we complained about it, they said that the room from the pictures wasn’t available (we later found out that it was the only one). We then walked from room to room with the host to choose another one, and they all were in a similar, old condition, so we can tell for sure that this was not an isolated case. Also, the first and later second room had cockroaches in them (see the pictures). The whole 4 night we stayed here they didn’t clean the room even once, only put new towels on the bed and that’s it!

The looked mediocre, but for 5€ per person it’s okay in comparison to other places to eat in the morning.

I don’t know how this place has such a good rating, maybe because of the kindness of the staff (rightfully so) and I get that this is a budget-oriented hotel but when your bed plank collapses the first time you sit on it, I think other people should know the true state of this hotel.

  3. If you normally stay at the Hilton, this is not the place for you. I don’t so this is the place for me. OK basic accomodation but it’s clean and air-conditioned. Eva the host went the extra mile during our stay which we appreciated. Would have no hesitation staying here again.

  4. Very clean, good AC, good Wifi, hot water in the shower, 5 euro breakfast – hard boiled eggs, 3 kinds of cereal, juice, coffee, tea, toast, grapes, apples, donuts, jam, butter, bread, tea biscuits. Two restaurants within 5 min walk. Parking is very tight. Only 6 cars double-parked, we had to park behind a restaurant down the street. There are no TVs in the rooms. The hotel owner is beyond friendly, she kept bringing us gifts – bananas, chocolate, donuts, beaded jewelry… I really had no idea what that was about. She told me that I am a very good wife because I “don’t talk too much” – huh? She gave us flowers when we were leaving.

  5. Eva is super nice host. Really devoted to her hotel.
The rooms are basic, calm, clean and confortable. You can enjoy a terrasse.
It’s located 1km away by walk from both sides beaches (caldeira and red beach), in the center of Akrotiri village.
