  1. The view is spectacular! It was the most we spent on dinner while visiting Greece but worth it, especially for the sunset view. Best view I’ve ever had at any restaurant. Magical. Started with the grilled octopus. I had the mushroom ravioli and my boyfriend had the gyro plate. Whiskey sours were yummy and dessert was so rich and heavenly.

  2. Wonderful atmosphere, good portions are HUGE so keep that in mind when ordering (see pictures). The appetizer portions are pretty small but the entrees and salads were really large portions! Friendly staff and just a memorable and beautiful evening!!

  3. Had a great view of the harbour, sunset views on the roof terrace are available, but was early evening and glad of the shade.
Had the Chicken “hands on” gyros, huge plateful of food, lovely crisp wedges, succulent tomatoes, crisp spring onions and moist pitta.
Chicken was thin strips, very nice.
Not cheap, 12 euro for a 33cl beer and top price for good, but clean, well presented and tasty.

  4. Strogili was recommended to us by our hotel receptionist for its sunset view, but she also mentioned that the food is average, which turned out to be true.

We ordered steamed mussels, beef carpaccio, the mousaka twist, and a local Santorini white wine called Gavalas. The steamed mussels and mousaka twist were just okay—we’ve had better in Athens. However, the beef carpaccio was quite good! The Gavalas white wine was amazing, though a bit on the pricey side.

The sunset view is definitely a highlight, and the service was good, making it a nice spot to enjoy the scenery even if the food is just average.

  5. Amazing location, what an incredible place for a sunset dinner and the view is exceptional. The food was good, but isn’t everywhere in Greece! The only thing letting the experience down was the service but it was busy however we did feel a little forgotten at times.
