We spent a lovely 3-4 hours at Black Beach and had a fantastic time! The beach itself is made up of smooth black rocks, which is unique, maybe consider taking shoes you can walk comfortably in —Tevas or water shoes are a great idea.
The water is cold and refreshing. There are several dining options nearby, so you’ll have no trouble finding a good meal or snack. There’s plenty of seating at the beach and chairs will cost you a couple euros, making it easy to sit back and enjoy the incredible views. Highly recommend a visit!
This was my favourite beach from this zone.
It has parking, a beach club with good prices, sunbeds and umbrellas and bathrooms. Even you can see the sunset (sept 13)
It has black gravy and sand but beach shoes are recommended.
It is very nice.
Perissa Beach, also known as The Black Beach. This is a beautiful beach with black sand, which can get baking hot (the sand that is) on a hot day. The water is crystal clear, and plenty of small fish. Some like to nibble your ankles. There is also a great choice of where to eat, at very reasonable prices, unusual considering you are on Santorinis. We booked an umbrella and 2 chairs for 15 euros. There is the option of paying 50 euros, all food included but it is a better deal and more flexible if you purchase food separately. We also caught the little ferry (8 euros every 30 minutes) around the point to Kamara Beach where you definitely want reef shoes. Kamara is a very pebbly beach. The Santorini buses service both beaches. Highly recommend Perissa Beach.
Black pebbles beach. Not sure why they name this one black sand beach where all the beaches in Santorini are black pebbles. The public beach here is ok. Not the cleanest. Park at your own risk. There is a separate area with a nicer and clean same beach, and its private. Must pay to use it. The road to this beach is pumppy at times.
BRING YOUR WATER SHOES!!!! I think the other white and red beaches are more popular, but with a small child, the parking and the facilities were perfect, and within short walking distance. $15€ for 2 sunchairs and umbrella. $39€ for 2 beers, 1 mocktail and a bottle of water, but there is free wifi.
