Anastasia Village
This hotel was the worst hotel!!! Everything the rooms the service the reception guy was not nice and kind at all they didn’t want to help with anything! We had a problem we ordered the room for 16/7 and when we arrived we find out that we did a mistake and ordered the room for 16/6 anyway they didn’t want to help us at all even not give us a little discount or something, they was very rude and yelled very bad experience and the room was so disgusting not clean at all one bad night was too much
The hotel from hell. Arrived alone at around midnight from a flight. Had paid for two nights with my travel agency. They had no record of my name or booking number. They had not even heard of my travel agency. I was stranded at midnight on my own and they offered zero help. I had to call the UK and get a relative to get me another hotel for two nights. My travel agency were so helpful and told me and the hotel that the hotel had received the money. A few days later the hotel LIED to say that I had not even shown up. What an utter dodgy shoddy place. They took the money but didn’t have my booking. An utter disgrace of a place. Avoid like the plague.
Positive things first: The location is great. We had a great view from our room. You have two nice big beaches close to you and a small hidden one. Three good restaurants and a bar/club to make party. The hotel itself looks nice from the outside. The rooms are a maximum two star standard, but clean and you get new towels everyday. The breakfast buffet was a catastrophe consisting of undrinkable old juice, watercoffee, butter, dry old bread, cheap supersweet (negative) muffins/donuts and some warmed up deep fry stuff. Our table wasn’t cleaned for ten days(!), just the dishes removed. The service was non existent with staff that had no motivation and/or being there for the guests. Even though there were like 5-6 staff around the office everytime, they were mostly hanging out and smoking, drinking, talking and being noisy all day until late in the night/early morning time. One of the worst things, was one staff member that had a serious flu or Corona, and was coughing heavily for several days and infected several other staff members. Of course none of them wearing masks or caring inside. All at a time when the infect numbers were ridiculous high… Mykonos is a great island in every way, but don’t choose this hotel (it is overpriced too).
