  1. If you want to eat in Kastro – this is the place. The portions are GENEROUS! We tried a couple of mezzes (appetizers) which were huge! Quite diverse menu for a traditional taverna – we especially liked the Dakos salad 🥹 with traditional SIfnos cheese.

  2. Honest tasty homemade food , although a little greasy, the braised lamb was beautifully falling apart, good size greek salad , large moussaka portion.
Good value for money, good location , worth a visit.

  3. Can’t recommend this place enough!!!

This place has an awesome menu filled with traditional delicacies.

Firstly the salads are amazing, dakos if you like the crispy bread soaking up the ripe tomatoes and olive oil.

Secondly the meatballs and eggplant dish is bar none the best thing I had in Greece.

Thirdly the house white and red are simple and honest wines that make for easy drinking.

Lastly the service is fast even with a full restaurant and a considerable set of stairs leading up to the kitchen.

Furthermore the bill comes with two awesome pistachio flavoured desserts that were both unexpected and unexpectedly delicious.
