The food is delicious and authentic. The owner and his wife are very friendly. Octopus in wine and Calamari were really delicious. They really give you a true taste of Island food and hospitality. Mamos beer is also tasty. Worth to visit!
Best aubergine imam I’ve ever had! The food here is absolutely exceptional, it’s also the most delicious baked feta I’ve tasted! The layout of the outdoor seating and tables makes me feel like I’m in a nautical tavern from another time, but the chatting locals catching up with the proprietor make me feel like it’s a big part of the contemporary community. Wonderful atmosphere of friends gathering for food and drink and chat, and very entertaining and generous owner!
Yorgo, the owner, was very friendly. I suggest house wine, kalamari and octopus. I guess it is a family business. Tables are well organised with a few with sea view. It has a clean kitchen. Most importantly it is nicely windy.

Το Κάστρο (To Kastro) -The Castle- is a tavern right under the castle of Mythilene. It has delicious traditional and affordable Greek food. Its owner Yorgo will entertain you with some magic tricks because apperantly he worked as a magician for 10 years .
First stop for coffee and ouzo, a magical place where a pirate does magic tricks, we highly recommend Castro
