My partner Jacob and I have been living together at Zia Sunnyside for four and a half months, he a year and a half longer than I and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. We want to start by give a big shout out to Lauren and Ryan who work the Office.

Lauren was our direct caretaker for our move in process. She was incredibly welcoming and attentive to our every need from the start. It was easy to get the answers we needed and continues to be open to every question or concern we have. Both, Ryan and Lauren make us feel like a welcomed friend here. I also want to say that the rest of the team from the office to mainenance to cleaners, all have been kind and open to us every step of the way.
The building is kept very clean. The lobbies being taken care of daily. Even during winter months, I almost never saw dirty floors. The building is well-maintained inside and out. When issues arise or the little things we need to be fixed come along, we get a sense of importance and are quickly resolved. We are happy to see that as the new management team gets more settled, we continue to notice that the building as a whole is being taken care of better and more quickly. They are just what this apartment needed. Thank you to everyone who does their part in making this a home.

Yeah the property is gorgeous and the amenities are sexy and the finishes are high quality. Cool. But the people that run the place are what really matters, and new management as of ~October 2023 is amazing.

There were some…gaps in the paperwork from signing our lease in September with the previous management company, but Lauren and Shadai did right by us every step of the way as we figured things out over the phone before we moved in.. Ryan and Cain were the first people we met on move-in day in November and they put us at ease about everything in the first 5 minutes, again doing right by us every step of the way. I just met Julia but she’s awesome too. I’ve gotten emails from Anna that were important and timely, and Steven is actually the nicest human on the planet so I have zero concerns about maintenance. Seriously the whole team is awesome.

We already have plans of staying well beyond the initial lease we signed. I’ll gladly update this 5-star review if anything changes and will be just as detailed if I do. 😂 but for now Zia is an easy 5 stars, from a very much real new resident.

If you’re reading this review and wondering if you should move in, the answer is yes – as long as you’re cool, read your lease, and communicate when there are issues. Catch me on the rooftop around golden hour. I’ll probably be there making my friends jealous on Instagram.

I moved in to Zia in November and love it. I’m in my mid-30s and this is my first time living in an apartment building with amenities like this and it’s been wonderful. I love my apartment layout (I’m in an A5 on the apartment side) and feel like it’s a really great space and price for Denver. I also really love the neighborhood; I’ve been in Denver for 13 years but never on this side of town. It’s residential, respectful and quiet while still easily accessible from downtown and the highways.

I moved in right when the new management company took over and have had a really great experience with everyone in the leasing office. They’ve all been friendly, helpful, responsive and personable. I’ve also been impressed by how much they’ve done in their first few months of taking over the building, such as repainting the garage lines, fixing the pool phones that hadn’t been serviced for years by the previous company, rebuilding the website and resident portal, doubling the number of dog walk stations and best of all, significantly improving the quantity and quality of resident events. It’s really helped with meeting neighbors, making friends and making Zia feel like a home. If you’re looking for a place, I highly recommend.

We love our apartment at Zia! When looking for the perfect apartment, a lot of times you base your final decision on gut feeling. All new builds have the same shiny amenities, but customer service is what stands out above the rest. This was the case for why we chose Zia. When we toured and saw that Ryan went out of his way to greet everyone by name, and invited them to a resident event, it gave us a sense of community and care. The rest of the leasing and move in process was seamless. Everyone seems really friendly and we love our apartment. The location ins great, too! We would 10/10 recommend.

I could not recommend this complex enough. It is quiet, well maintained, and offers great amenities at an affordable price. I just moved here from Indianapolis and my leasing agent Emmerry helped make that a completely smooth transition. She was very kind and quickly responded to any questions or concerns that I had. That goes for the whole office staff as well. Definitely put these apartments at the top of your list to check out.
