  2. A Perfect Dining Experience

This restaurant from the moment to we step in was a culinary treasure. The ambiance is inviting and elegant, ideal for any occasion. The food is incredible; each dish, especially the grilled octopus , is crafted to perfection with rich, vibrant flavors. The wine selection is superb, offering perfect pairings for every meal. What truly stands out is the staff everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, making us feel special throughout our visit. For outstanding food, exceptional wine, and impeccable service, this is definitely the ultimate destination. I can’t wait to return.

  3. Been there only once but it was a nice place to visit for a change. It is more upscale in terms of environment, decoration, cutlery and service, while the clientel is prepared to spend the extra penny in order to taste the delicacies and enjoy the view of the port from the nice windy terrace.
The staff was nice and the service was overall very good. The prices are on the salty side but the plates we ordered were all well worth the cost. Tasty and convincing … with portions which are larger than the regular gourmet-style size…
The desert was also good and the fact that we got a table without a reservation counts on the positive.
Would happily visit again and would recommend for people who like tasting new recipes.

  4. Me and my girlfriend (both 22 y.o) recently dined at Ydrolithos and unfortunately, it was quite a disappointing experience. From the moment we arrived, things didn’t start well. We requested a table for two in the corner, but we were told it wasn’t available because it was “too early.” However, just 10 minutes later, another couple arrived and were seated at the very table we requested, right in front of us. No one even acknowledged this. It seemed like special treatment for them, perhaps because the man was wearing a flashy chain.

The atmosphere didn’t help either. The music was very loud and repetitive; after 30 minutes, the same songs started playing again. We came to enjoy our meal, but the blaring music made it nearly impossible to relax.

As for the food, it was definitely not value for money. The only redeeming part of our experience was the attentive waitresses, who were polite and professional throughout. However, the boss, never bothered to check on us or apologize for the poor treatment we received. Oddly enough, he was very attentive to all the other tables.

In summary, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. It lacks hospitality, ambiance, and value for what you pay (48€ each person for a salad, a tarama and 2 main dishes).
