Service – A Mixed Bag

Many visitors have praised the restaurant for its friendly service, while others have encountered issues. One guest, Fahiza Ali, shared a concerning experience with the service during their visit. While they were eager to enjoy their meal, they felt rushed and neglected by the staff, highlighting the importance of attentive customer service.

Food Quality – A Culinary Journey

The dishes at Yasou Mykonos take center stage, with flavors that transport diners straight to Greece. From sumptuous gyros to delectable platters, there’s something to please every palate. Yet, not all reviews reflect the same sentiment about food quality.

Customer Feedback: A Tale of Two Experiences

The Allure of Delicious Flavors

Despite the occasional setback, many dishes have received acclaim. The flavors are often described as delicious, drawing appetites from travelers near and far. It’s worth noting that patrons enjoy the freshness of the ingredients, making every bite a reminder of the Mediterranean essence.

Portion Sizes – A Point of Contention

Another frequent critique centers around portion sizes. Michael DiIorgi shared his disappointment with the falafel platter, specifically noting that his meal lacked variety and sufficient quantity. For those who appreciate hearty servings, it may be worthwhile to double-check portion options before ordering.

The Balance of Quality and Price

While Yasou Mykonos strives to provide a delightful dining experience, feedback suggests that some guests find the prices inconsistent with the portion sizes. The value for money is a topic that draws varying opinions, underscoring the need for potential diners to consider their expectations.

Highlighting the Faves: What to Order

Despite the critiques, many visitors recommend trying signature dishes like the lamb and tzatziki sauce. Peter Yong noted that although the meats were slightly dry, the overall experience was commendable due to the good portions and flavors.

  1. Went this afternoon for lunch. The young lady at the register had her friend standing there and eating food there too. She was rude and unpleasant rushing everyone without giving the customers her undivided attention. My food came out but no gave it to me until one of the workers checked the bag and asked me is this your order?? This is despicable customer service. Please hire responsible adults to take orders and be polite and attentive. These kids you’re hiring are hurting your business and driving customers away.

  2. I hate to write poor reviews on small businesses but it needs to be done when appropriate. Only reason this is not a 1 star review is because most of the food itself is actually delicious. However their platters (at least for takeout) are severely under portioned and not worth anywhere near $16.

My family placed an order for takeout a few days ago and I myself ordered the falafel platter. We were shocked at the portion sizes and what was included.

Falafel platter literally had 5 pieces of falafel, the sauce and pita. That’s it…. Didn’t get my side. Lettuce was BARELY included, had to use lettuce from my refrigerator. No onions, no tomato, cucumber etc… like you would find at any other Greek place that serves platters. And feta is $2.00 extra charge on an almost $20 VEGGIE platter? Come on.

Another family member got orzo as a side and it was literally just boiled orzo. nothing else added, no seasoning. Not even a drizzle of olive oil.

Again only saving grace was most of the food we ate was tasty. Other than that won’t be coming back here for takeout.
