  1. We’re a childless couple in our late 30s that booked all inclusive in late June (so about 30-32 degrees) and we found the resort to be clean and pleasant with a good Aircon system in the room which also had other useful features like a big fridge with a freezer section and TV with a USB port. It’s quite a relaxed and basic hotel, so the kids seemed to gang up together and tried desperately to make their own fun round the pool, which is all they can really do here, other than play ping pong, but the lifeguard generally did a better job than their parents did when the young lads start to get a bit boisterous and annoying round the pool. I’d take earphones down to the pool for that reason, and also because the main road is just outside the complex and the odd motorbike will roar past about 85mph four or five times a day. There were ample food options in the canteen to cater for whatever we fancied that day/meal-time, whether we just wanted a healthy snack, like soup and crusty bread or a plate of salad, cheeses and olives or a full on meal like chicken thighs or moussaka, or beef in sauce with some chips or pasta. Basic but wholesome enough with a fair selection of new options each day. The canteen waiting staff will usually come ask if you’d like a drink (alcoholic or otherwise, so they go get it from the bar for you and bring it to you in the canteen). Otherwise it’s Tea/coffee, or concentrated pineapple or orange juice. The beach is about 22min walk away or if you plan for the next two-way shuttle minibus service (provided for free by the hotel) it’s only a 5min trip (as long as you’re in the first 8/9 people waiting outside the front reception in the car park). There’s a dedicated beach area for this hotel, so as long as you don’t decide to go on a public Greek bank holiday like we did on our first day, then there’s already about 30 sunbeds and umbrellas waiting for you that are actually free to use, with a much cheaper beach bar nearby, to purchase drinks or diner type food from. The free hotel shuttle minibus service also goes to the nearest town Pefkochori, 3 miles West, (which you can’t walk to because there’s no path, just a busy dual carriage way) but it leads to where all the nice seaside bars and restaurants, arcades and clothes and souvenir shops are, and if you miss one of the hotel shuttle slots to the town, there’s taxis that charge about €7 each way and they have a rank near Mario’s kebab shop on the main stretch through Pefkochori town for when you want to come back later than 10pm

  2. Very nice hotel with food and free drinks after 19:00 and very nice pool. And I got traumatized after I saw a big hairy dark green rat in my room with a big black long pink tail. You should come here very nice hotel just don’t talk after 22:00 because some Serbs from the other room will swear at you. As I said very nice hotel you should come here but don’t trust the blankets they can easily get lost or get ripped in half. Make sure to bring tools so if the blanked reeps off you revive it. And don’t call 203 and 415 number on the room phone. And you can also see frogs. There is also liturgy with dedo medo he Save us all, make sure to attend or die.

  3. Our family 100% enjoyed vacation in Port Marina. This hotel truly shows what “Greek hospitality” is. Very friendly and hard working staff, delicious varied food , big family rooms, clean and nice pool area, and absolutely stunning beach, where you can get by a hotel shuttle or easily walk (15 min max). Yes, there are little things here and there which could be improved, BUT if you are coming for a marvelous beach and relaxing Greek vibes , this is a place to be.

  4. Not recommend. We’ve been guests in the middle of July. Rooms are old and not well maintained. Quen bed was good, single bed was very uncomfortable and old, we were not able to sleep at all, and problem is solved by adding extra blankets, and you can imagine how it looks like to slip on winter blanket in the summer. Food wasn’t so good, same breakfast each day, dinner was nice only on Fridays. Quality of fruit was really bellow expectations. Same for drinks which are served for dinner. For 3* hotel we definitely expected more and for price which we payed.
There are some positive thoughts about hotel, like parking, nice yard and pool.

  5. Worst “all inclusive” holiday I have been on, food is terrible not really a variety same things every day. The drinks were very limited for an all inclusive, even the coke cola just taste like soda water. Our room was clean but 2 single beds for 2 people and the beds are very very uncomfortable. The hotel is not located no were near anything, they have a mini bus service which is free to go into the town, but this is at certain times aswell. No entertainment on either… Not really the hotel’s fault but we found the other guest really really rude especially when queuing for the mini bus they just try push ahead and nothing said from staff . Would not recommend at all and definitely won’t be coming back.

    Spend your money aswell
