Discovering Voulgari: A Hidden Jewel of Tranquility

Embrace the Aquatic Adventure

Voulgari Beach is not just a destination; it’s an experience waiting to happen. As Andrej Matevski brilliantly puts it, the beach offers an exhilarating environment where you can embrace your inner Aquaman. Whether you’re swimming, snorkeling, or simply splashing in the surf, the warm Mediterranean waters promise a refreshing escape.

Serenity by the Sea

One of the foremost attractions of Voulgari Beach is its tranquil ambiance. Visitors like Gabi Gheorghe have praised the beach for its serene atmosphere, making it an excellent spot for those looking to unwind. With fewer crowds and no loud music, relaxation is a given at this picturesque location.

Beach Beauty and Natural Charm

The stunning natural beauty of Voulgari cannot be overlooked. The beach is adorned with soft sands and breathtaking views towards Finikas Bay and Finikas village. Travelers are captivated by the picturesque landscape, inviting you to capture unforgettable photos and moments with loved ones.

A Family-Friendly Retreat

While it may not have all the amenities of a bustling resort, Voulgari Beach shines as a family-friendly spot. It’s a perfect getaway for families seeking a quieter beach experience, where children can enjoy the gentle waves under the watch of attentive guardians, despite the steep bank of the sea.

Complimentary Comforts

A highlight for many visitors is the availability of free umbrellas. As noted by Alex Gisginis and Gabi Gheorghe, this thoughtful addition by the municipality ensures that you have a comfortable area to relax without the added costs commonly found at other beach destinations.

Shady Spots for Sheltering Bliss

In addition to the free umbrellas, those who wish to relax under the trees can find shade to escape the sun. With natural elements for shelter, Voulgari Beach offers a refreshing break from the heat, ideal for relaxing on a sunny day.

Candid Insights and Honest Reviews

Voulgari Beach has garnered praise from visitors, receiving a range of positive reviews. The collective feedback points toward a hidden gem that is well worth a visit for anyone seeking a less commercialized beach experience.

Keep It Natural

For the environmentally conscious traveler, a visit to Voulgari Beach encourages a connection with nature. The lack of beach service and bars means fewer distractions, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the serene surroundings without the noise of commercialism.

A Taste of Local Charm

While amenities like a bustling beach bar are lacking, the uncommercialized vibe encourages visitors to explore local cuisine either in nearby Finikas village or other local establishments. Embrace the local dining experiences for a true taste of regional flavors.

Pet-Friendly Paradise

If you’re traveling with furry friends, Voulgari Beach presents a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a day out with your pet. The beach’s underdeveloped charm creates a welcoming environment for all family members, including your loyal companions.

A Hidden Sanctuary for Swimmers

Remember the Coral

It is crucial for visitors to remember that while Voulgari offers beauty, awareness about the rocky areas close to the beach is essential. Visitors should tread carefully, especially when getting into the water, as these natural features can pose challenges to the unassuming swimmer.

  1. Beach is beautiful and water is also nice. There are free umbrellas and space for own but in the water and very close to the beach there are rocks. The old platform is also broken. Very quiet place, good for families but it should be definitely maintained!

  2. Quiet sandy beach, excellent for sweemers but not recommended for the families with children, as the sea bank sloap is pretty steep. The view towards Finikas Bay and Finikas village is gorgeous. And the umbrellas are free of charge, offered by the municipality (if you find a spared one 😁). Yet there are some trees that provide a sort of shadow. A minus – there is no beach service, no bar/canteen, which come with a plus – no music at all and less loudy crowds…
