  1. Quiet house with idyllic garden. The friendly host gave us a very warm welcome and even picked us up from the nearby airport. Our apartment was simple, small and comfortable and we felt very comfortable there. The peace and quiet in the small town was just the thing for us to relax. The beach is easily accessible on foot, and the hilly location of the town offered a workout for the leg muscles. Overall we felt very comfortable and would like to come back.

  2. I don’t even know where to start because I can’t stop raving about Crete and especially the Villia Radamanthis 😉

The vacation was a dream thanks to Bettina’s hospitality! Her courteous manner, transparent communication and warmth make you feel truly valued. The service is unbeatable and everything is always spotlessly clean! You can tell how much effort and passion goes into this place. That’s why I would recommend anyone who wants to discover Crete on an authentic side to go to Bettina. She knows the island like the back of her hand and always gives you the best insider tips 😉

Now in the cold winter I always think back to the wonderful, relaxing time and the fantastic view (the roof terrace was the best place for that at sunset)

Thank you very much, dear Bettina, for welcoming me so warmly, it was incredibly nice to be with you! This was certainly not my last time on this beautiful island!

  3. Our vacation was already in August, but now it’s time for a review. Ultimately, the “whole package” should be communicated from our own experience:

Thanks to the two property managers Astrid and Claus on site, it was a really nice, relaxing and quiet summer holiday in Villa Radamanthis. The two of them took excellent and touching care of us and were always there to offer advice, assistance and good tips. We came as guests and left as good friends. Thank you both, we miss you 😘

The apartment was clean and tidy, but overall very simply furnished and a bit outdated. Unfortunately also without TV. The proximity to the beach and the view from the terrace is really unsurpassed, super beautiful 👍. Each apartment has its own, beautiful and spacious terrace (or balcony on the 1st floor). The general roof terrace is a great place to watch the sunrise.

The town of Ligaria with its beautiful bay and the adjacent town of Agia Pelagia, which is easily accessible on foot, are definitely worth a trip. We will definitely spend our vacation there again.

However, the extremely steep, approximately 250m long climb up the courtyard entrance to the villa was a challenge. This was not previously apparent in the brochures. If you’re good on foot, that’s fine, but if you have a “walking handicap” you have no chance of getting up there. Many thanks again to Claus and Astrid for their help with shopping. Otherwise it would have been a real challenge to carry all the bottles of water up the mountain.

Unfortunately, during our stay there was some stress with the landlady, who was not at all satisfied with the work of the property manager.
But what can I say if the landlady doesn’t stick to agreements, the villa has some structural defects/defects (including a broken sprinkler system, so the two of them had to water by hand for a good 2 hours a day), and the property managers are only employed as part-time workers but you have to take care of everything regarding guests including airport transfer, renovation and technology around the house, that’s just too much…
Claus and Astrid had a really difficult few days with drama and stress, but despite everything they took great care of us.

Crete and Ligaria are always a pleasure. I also love vacationing with and with Claus & Astrid. But not in this place.
