There is a fantastic feel to this exceptional villa. Villa Astra offers a unique elegant and relaxing atmosphere that many modern villas in Mykonos cannot replicate.The villa has elegant bedrooms, a big kitchen with modern appliances, where you can prepare simple meals or a feast, and large windows that allow light to penetrate deep inside the air-conditioned interior. Outside, the infinity swimming pool gives you access to a spectacular view of the Aegean sea. Don’t forget to bring your favourite book for an unforgettable experience by the pool!
Staying at this house was one of the most romantic and unforgettable experiences of my life! It’s the best view of the old town of Mykonos I’ve ever seen, as well as the sunset which dips into the sea right there before you. Super close to the town while also having the view is also rare in my experience. The decor is fantastic, minimal and modern, while also true to the traditional Mykonian Greek island style of whites and blues. The hosts excellent in every way. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
Villa Astra
From the moment we entered Villa Astra, we were amazed at the beauty that would be our home for the next few days. We were a group of 11 (family/friends) and we had plenty of space and never felt on top of one another. The rooms were all well appointed and all with their own full bath, except for the bunk bedded room, their full bath was right outside their door. There was another 1/2 bath downstairs. The master bedroom is the only one with a view, however, the views from the common areas of the villa were spectacular. The 2 studios were a bit isolated and could use perhaps some artwork/color to not make you feel so enclosed. We had some A/C and hot water issues, but all was fixed. I think a bit more explanation of usage was needed. We made good use of the well equipped kitchen, mostly for breakfast and bites for the amazing sunsets. There was a great local restaurant steps away with take-away available, as well as a liquor store and super market. Dania, the owner, was not on site, however, she made sure that our stay was wonderful. She has an amazing house manager, Elda, that made sure our stay was spectacular. The daily
housekeeping staff was very thorough and it’s a great perk to have. Dania arranged for Elda to have some requested groceries in the villa for our late arrival, also arranged arrival/departure transfers. Elda was always available and provided much local knowledge and recommendations. A magnificent stay for our family to enjoy.
Beautiful villa overlooking the sea, with infinity pool and spacious outdoor area to lounge, eat and relax. Indoor the rooms are spacious, perfectly furnished, most bedrooms with ensuite bathroom. The kitchen fully equipped with high tec appliences.
Fantastic location, combines the best the island has to offer with the quietness and peace you need. The house has everything you need for a perfect vacation and dealing with the owners Danai and Krishan is a pleasure. Definitely recommend and looking forward to come back!
