We had booked Villa Afantou Deluxe for four nights in the summer of 2021. The biggest mistake was that we had already paid everything early and could not cancel afterwards. Online, the facility as well as the alleged “villa” made a good impression. When we got there, we were immediately taught otherwise! The name “Villa” is definitely out of place in my opinion! Here are some key points, as a detailed description would go beyond the scope of this text:
Advantages:
– Many bathrooms
– Large pool
– Geographically well located for people who want to explore Rhodes by car. Directly on the main road that connects the north and south of the island.
– Clean bed linen
Disadvantages:
– Very dirty plant with any scrap distributed all over the property
– Also from the inside the alleged “villa” is very unhygienic and unkempt
– The radiators are completely rusted
– The couch in the living room dirty and torn in several places
– No air conditioning in the living room
– In general, most air conditioners were not fully functional and with little power, which did not really help to relax in high temperatures
– With the simultaneous use of only a few electrical appliances (e.B. hairdryer, TV, etc.), which is not uncommon in a “villa” with a higher number of people, the fuse has constantly flown out. In the end, it was a full-time job that someone stands at the fuse box to enable the fuse every minute
– Poor Wi-Fi coverage both indoors and outdoors
– The main entrance door of the alleged “villa” was apparently only decoration and there were no keys to it, so you could only get into the villa via the kitchen
– You are right next to a facility with larger construction equipment (excavators, trucks), where the noise causes you to wake up early in the morning. For conviction, see Google Earth
– No respect for privacy, as a village idiot regularly came to the complex despite the closed entrance gate to pick prickly pears
– In addition, the outdoor area for the landlord apparently also served as a parking area for his several rental cars, which has led to the fact that you had no space for your own car
– The ironing board and iron were not functional

Really great villa with big spaces big garden really privacy is a big +. A wonderful place to relax in complete silence. Highly recommended! The trampoline, the pink pong, the really big pool and sauna are among the + the garden is really beautiful and the location is amazing just 5-10 minutes walk from the sea and in the middle of the island quickly to every point.
Everything was wonderful!! We had a great time!! Absolutely clean space, neat with nice decoration touches! Huge pool and garden! Absolute peace and privacy!
