  1. Only three minutes walking distance from Imerovigli bus stop.
The room was the same as the time we booked. Great Caldera view. You can see the cruise ships are arriving and leaving from Fira old sea port.
You can enjoy the sunrise and the sunset from the balcony.

Great staff. Very helpful and friendly.

    Conclusion: Recommended without any question!

  2. Stayed in the most wonderful part of Santorini, i think. Imerovigli is just so adorable! I had my apartment right in the middle. Had nice sea and Caldera views even from the bed! The bed was on the mezzaine but i didnt mind, though for much taller people can be a problem.
Staff was really kind and accomodating.

There is also pool like 2 mins away from here. Was awesome!!
    Check the pics 🙂

  3. I wouldn’t recommend for this hotel. It’s not worth of $$. You get a veranda or balcony with room but the sunset falls on the other side of the building. Reception was awful. They claim its a 4star hotel but amenities are not like any star. I asked for a phone charger as European chargers are different than America’s. They refused to provide. All other hotels that I stayed in oia very helpful. I had to buy a charger at muddle of night. The location is not recommended either. I would rather stay in fira or oia

  4. The photos and marketing are very deceiving. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone, especially if you will spend more than one night there. PLEASE READ:

The photos show three rooms and you are at the mercy of the staff or availability to choose what you get. We stayed in #1 -incredibly tiny with an awful layout for two people and two bags, it’s loud with stairs above it and a busy walking street that constantly has people with roller luggage overhead. The bed is too small (full size) and slopes to the middle. The internet rarely works and when it does is very slow (like 5 minutes to download a boarding pass). The larger room shown doesn’t have windows. And the other room is lofted and even more cramped than ours (we know this because we were offered this room after we complained, but realized ours was the lesser of two evils).

The terraces are not private. There really isn’t any privacy at all.

Another deception in the listing and in the billing is the affiliation to On The Rocks Hotel. Veranda View claims to be a part of this hotel but you will not receive standard things like room service. You will need to walk up/down 100+ stairs (300 meters) to reach the small pool/bar. You will not be offered towels. Daily housekeeping was included, but had a horrible chemical smell (cheap products) and needed to be aired out before we could re-enter the room. I was charged in two separate increments over a month apart by On The Rocks which i was not aware of and did not approve. I should have been charged immediately in full. It was a bit of shock on my credit card statement

It lacked basic details – no wine bottle opener, no bottled water (it is not potable in room), the robes were dirty, no outdoor seat cushions or really any attention to the shared outdoor space. No help with bags up the stairs at checkout, only check in.

We stayed for one full week. After speaking to staff throughout the week, finally the last day I gave the manager feedback and instead of hearing me out and making it right, he was quite arrogant and defensive. Nothing was done on behalf of management to make our stay better.

I would NEVER stay here and please do yourself a favor and find another place in this beautiful area.

  5. Veranda View has the most amazing view of Caldera. The owner Antonia is the sweetest and most welcoming person in the island and, as someone who resides there in the winter, can offer great advice on how to make the most of a long weekend. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and well equipped to have breakfast on the balcony. Good vfm compared to the area. The large studio is great for those with kids.
