Ate lunch here on a day visit from a cruise. Meal was pretty good. I did not care for the appetizer shrimp they were small and had too much lemon but I did like the appetizer bread with olives and tomatoes. My husband enjoyed the octopus appetizer.
At the end of the meal I left cash and the waitress asked me if there was something I didn’t like? I said no. She seemed angry. I didn’t know why. When I left the restaurant I googled if we are supposed to tip in Greece. Apparently it’s not expected from locals but IS expected from tourists. So my husband went back and gave her extra money. Then she was super nice to him .
So if you are a tourist don’t forget to tip!
This has the most enthusiastic staff trying to bring you in. Good appetizer with pita bread and dips. Great hot chocolate (was in March, okay!)
A surprise at the check out as the 20 euro dip appetizer became 28 because pita bread for the dip was not included. We didn’t order bread to go with the bread dip. They brought it out and kind of expected. Should not charge extra for what should already come with the appetizer. The surprise is the complaint.
45 euro for two hot chocolates and bread with dip is a bit steep.
Great Italian food, they obviously have an Italian chef as the food is authentic. It’s not cheap as it is right on the water with 1000s of tourists walking past but the views are great, the food is great and it is a good spot to people watch.
The risotto and seafood pasta were both beautiful, the wine and drinks great. The staff were friendly and didn’t rush us.
Firstly, I cannot comprehend that someone said the portions were small! We are big eaters and we could barely breathe by the time we left! My pasta was huge and the seafood was incredibly fresh as was the meat.
We were so happy that we found this restaurant. We ate there twice (both times that we had dinner in Mykonos town) because the service was fantastic and the staff were so helpful and the food was second to none. We were a group of 5 ladies, 2 are pregnant and we all had different tastes and requirements. Nothing was difficult for them. Every single item that we ordered was wonderful and incredibly tasty. We thought the prices in comparison to most of Mykonos were fantastic. The cocktails were about €20 but the same as everywhere else. I ordered a seafood pasta and it was wonderful! There is no service charge automatically added so that should be included as the service was the same as the shard in London (for example). One evening we didn’t arrive until 10pm and the food was as gorgeous as the second night when we went at 7pm. For us pregnant ladies we spent €40-€60 each on two mains and extra sides and starters. The girls who drank spent €65/€70 each.
Food was nice, the location would be good. But their attitude was not nice at all. They literally asked us a tip even though we didn’t get a nice service. They will even choose you the amount how much you should add to your bill as a tip if you visit this place. Not a nice experience at all!!!!!!!!! They totally don’t understand about the tipping culture. It goes to when you get a nice service, not for having food. If you don’t want to ruin your mood during your great holiday in Mykonos, then choose other place.
