Best bougatsa! Grab one for breakfast, and you will have a great day(w/ powdered sugar and cinnamon of course)! It definitely put some pep in my step!
Beautiful spanakopita. The baklava was so deliciously sweet wrapped in heavenly pastry. The owners were so lovely too. Perfect lunch option – or snacks.
Honesty is everything.
I asked for an espresso of which the price is clearly mentioned on a blackboard (€1,5). I gave €2 and said I’d also take a bottle of water (mentioned on the blackboard for €0,5). He said it was €1 for the water and I had to give extra. It was clearly on purpose because I referred to the blackboard and he kept saying €1 on a certain intonation to put pressure. When I said no and someone else working there came and clarified it was 1,5 and 0,5 so the €2 I gave them was correct, his body language was clear, didn’t look at me anymore, didn’t say anything anymore, felt uncomfortable. It’s a small amount of money, it’s not the end of the world, but everything starts with honesty. Tourists might not speak the language but they are not stupid.
I will drink my espresso somewhere else.
Amazing bougatsa! Crunchy pastry, delicious and hot filling. Add the cinnamon and icing sugar. Get your favourite freddo too and you have the perfect combination!
Average bakery and cookies. Cookies are hard and pretty sure they have been sitting there a few days. Wouldn’t come back to this bakery in the area.
