We accidentally walked into the shop this morning although it wasn’t technically open for the season yet… but the two ladies in the store that were getting it ready to open welcomed us anyways! We were a group of 5 women from Canada and we all found multiple things we LOVED! Everything is from Greek designers and made of beautiful materials! The wonderful ladies in the store are so creative and offer additional ideas for the clothes that we loved.
This is hands down one of the best stores I have been to on my travels here in Greece… I got three things – sunglasses, unique linen pants, and a shirt for my partner.

We had an exceptional shopping experience at Vanilla Milos! The men’s selection was incredible—each item we bought was not only fashionable but also incredibly well-made. What truly set our visit apart, though, was the phenomenal service provided by Maria Eleni. Her professionalism, kindness, and fashion expertise made our experience one for the books. We’re already looking forward to our next trip to the island and another shopping spree at Vanilla Milos. Absolutely a must-visit.
I’ve gone to this shop often on my holidays and absolutely love it here!
So well set out to go through and try the gorgeous garments, shoes, bags and accessories. Beautiful, relaxing ambience in the hot weather. I also like that the sales assistants are helpful but not pushy. Even when I’ve gone in quickly to look because something has caught my eye, I don’t feel pressured to buy, (unlike some other shops where they follow you around and I cannot think so end up leaving).
Yet, they are super obliging and even allowed an external tailor to offer a same day tailoring service (which is very rare here on a small island with limited resources).
I believe the confusion in the post below is that:
1/ the ‘colleague/ assistant’ might have been the external tailor who needed the cash/ to be paid cash for the tailoring and
2/ the abysmally small amount of €6 they charged for alterations (& possibly the same for the gentleman in the review below) needs to be paid to the EXTERNAL tailor, not the shop itself or its assistants as may have been misunderstood.
The shop doesn’t charge any extra cut on top or commission for these tailoring charges (which is ridiculously cheap anyway), so I would think it unfair that the shop have to pay the bank charges (AND in Greece tax becomes payable on card transactions, so this tailoring fee would have tax paid by the incorrect person, grossly unfair for an amount that doesn’t come to them).
So, tip, IF you should ever need alterations, bring cash for any tailoring you get done, so that the EXTERNAL tailoring lady can get paid (and they happily got my alterations done for me no issues and way quicker than I would back home in Australia).

The shop has beautiful clothes for men and women. I bought two linnen pants there, and one of the shop assistants was kind enough to offer to tailor in the trousers for a reasonable price. In the afternoon, when I came to pick up the trousers I only had my bank card on me so I couldn’t pay the assistant in cash. Her colleague was extremely unfriendly about the whole manner. She interrogated me about why I only use card and suggested I withdraw cash before her colleague was done with the corrections. After I told her that the banking fees for withdrawal of cash abroad are higher than the cost of the correction, she replied that they also have to pay for card payments. I was shocked. Never have I been treated this bad in a shop. If it wasn’t for the coworker who already tailored the trousers, I would have handed them back and requested a refund. In summary, pretty clothes, pretty awful manners.
