Absolutely fantastic. All the staff were wonderful and kind. They all work tremendously hard to make sure we had the best experience.
Food was good and reasonable variety.
The sea, which is right up to the hotel grounds, was fabulous. So clear and warm. Great for snorkeling. I was able to see many different types of fish.
Our room was not the best. I should have asked to be moved. I suppose for us it was just a place to go for shower and sleep. Cleanliness was good. So good enough.
I would recommend it. Just make sure of room type and pay little extra for a better room and view. Swim up room, in my opinion was not worth it. So overall 8/10.
Just returned from a lovely holiday here. The resort is really nice with excellent service. See in lovely grounds with stunning views over the sea. The best part of the stay was the wonderful food in the restaurants and bars, really good quality. Two nice swimming pools, sun beds can be hard to get at busy times and some in need of replacement. Beach is easy accessible and recommend shoes for entering the sea as very stoney. Night time entertainment very good with good variety. Would return here for a holiday in the future.
Had a fantastic stay at the hotel, the whole team is friendly and there’s great service from the housekeeping team, bar staff, reception and restaurant hosts & chefs. The food was delicious, and the included visit to The Culinarium is a must. The bars have a good selection of drinks and cocktails yo enjoy throughout the day. The swim up room was a nice feature too, with a smaller pool shared between 4 rooms that had it’s own sun loungers and decking which was perfect to catch the afternoon sun. Beach was also easily accesses from the hotel grounds and was shallow far out. There were a few cats around the site, one that could be found around the reception entrance was particularly friendly. Couldn’t fault our stay.
We have just returned from 10 days here. I’ll start by saying, it wasn’t awful, but it’s definitely not a 5* hotel. The good reviews are generous. This is a case of the marketing is better than the real thing.
Note that the rooms advertised are in the new block, so unless you’ve paid top price, it’s likely you won’t be in there. If you’re a young couple or group, this isn’t the place for you.
We paid for a partial sea view and ended up in a room above the entertainment and restaurant, with a view of the roof, that backed onto the loading bays and kitchen fumes. It was dark, old and loud. The shower scalded me a few times, it stank of sewage (a theme everywhere) and it was just overall run down, with yellow stains on the pillows and damp smelling wardrobes. Bathroom was barely moveable.
We asked to move, with some resistance from reception that ‘we hadn’t paid for a sea view’, however, we hadn’t paid to look at the wall. The reception team are not the politest.
We got moved on our second day, to a nicer view room. We got shown the new room and we’re told to pack up and move within 30 mins. From this point we got no help with our cases and bags down and up the 2 flights of stairs. Just the offer would have been nice. However, then the same issue with the room, burnt by the shower, sewage smells (which the cleaners used to clean the floors with 🤢), and just dull etc. They’re not 5* rooms and are very basic. If you are on the far side of the hotel, the bars are loud at night from the music.
The hairdryer blew up in my hand and when we asked to replace it, they bought one with a cord but wouldn’t hand it over until we proved the other was broken. The burning plastic smell should’ve given it away.
The walls are paper thin. The cleaners will wake you up from 6.30 onwards and you will hear the neighbours and anyone in the corridor. We were next to an incredibly loud and inconsiderate Dutch couple that smoked like chimneys, so we couldn’t sit out or leave the door open if they were there. Not the hotels fault but when we raised a noise complaint after they were screaming at eachother, they didn’t seem to do anything.
The WiFi is awful, download anything you want before you leave because it won’t work. The TV also doesn’t work, unless you want the news in German.
The TUI rep, that has now left, was rude. We overheard him talking to an elderly couple and he was very patronising to them. He watched my partner trying to drag the suitcases down the stairs after we were moved and then pushed round him and got agitated when we said anything.
You cannot order at the bar by the pool, they come and take your order and bring the drink about 30 minutes later. One of the servers was very rude when we asked for water at the bar and sent us away.
Positives:
The location is amazing, right on the sea, easy access and lots around.
The food is great for an all inclusive buffet. The a la carte is great and the snack bar is amazing during the day. The ice cream was a bit hit. You do share your seats with the cats. The desserts😍
I think the entertainment and restaurant staff save this hotel from worse reviews. They are brilliant. The entertainment girls and the TUI rep that did the pool party were to tier. Nelli in the restaurant was amazing and deserves every bit of credit, she was brilliant. I get very anxious and she made sure I was able to be comfortable.
Options at the main bar are great, just make sure you’re specific.
The rest of the TUI reps were lovely. Very helpful.
Our cleaner was the sweetest lady. They change everything everyday and are consistent.
Great amount of sunbeds.
The complementary massages on the sunbeds were great.
Overall, we won’t return here, they have some improvements to make before marketing as a 5*. It’s a shame as there was some lovely aspects to this holiday, the bad just outweighed the good.
Superb!
Lovely bedrooms, whole hotel complex kept extremely clean, all the staff were amazing, very attentive & friendly.
Special mention has to go to Saul & their fitness team, also to Ivon in the restaurant – as she was lovely!
Top notch facilities & lots of different daily activities laid on – from fitness/wellbeing to general fun!
Would 100% go back.
