Honestly i couldn’t believe how good this beach actually is. Just 1€ entrance fee, no more fee for sunbed, umbrella and shower. In addition you can choose to sit on the front bar. Different flavours of ice cream and cocktail are available.
I can say that it is main beach of Mytilene is the most popular because of its central location.
I spent my Saturday afternoon while waiting my ferry. For a Saturday afternoon it was offering a quieter and relaxing experience.
-/+ There are many stones and sea urchin in the sea but the water is clear and clean (blue flag beach).
This is definitely NOT one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, but it is convenient, depending on the close location to the port and city center. We paid 1 EUR entrance fee per person. Sea is clear but full of stones. Sunbeds and umbrellas are free to use after the entrance fee.
We paid 1€ per person and 0.50€ per child at the entrance gate.
We use the volleyball each time we go, it’s an active way to spend an afternoon in the city centre by the beach.
The umbrellas and sunbeds are not at extra charge, however you need to order some drink or food. Iced Coffee is 2€.
Water is clear but rocky. No sandy beach.
There are changing rooms and showers. Also toilets with little space and door opening inside the toilet. A bit uncomfortable.
There is a playground and some tables under the shade of trees.
There is a lifeguard tower and a bar.
This beach – 2 euros gives you beds, umbrella, shower and changing cubicle. Nice snorkelling – take some bread for the fish. Cafe is great value – we had tortilla wraps. Locals come here so hear Greek voices😊 little piers to get into the water because it is pebbly – authentic and clean.
The environment is calm and nice, the restaurant has many options, the sea shoreline is not suitable for getting in the sea, therefore there are stairs to get in. This is only drawback I can say. Very good place for daily rest and swimming activities
