Best kalimari that I’ve had in at least a year. Melts in your mouth. Great place. Can’t wait to bring family and friends in this amazing hidden gem of Chania.
Beautiful restaurant on the beach. It is a bit confusing with times as we wanted to have breakfast there and it was closed. We still managed to have happy hour there with white wine and tzatziki while watching the sunset and it was beautiful.
Waitress was nice. Some food was good but taramasalada was the worst I’ve ever had. Grilled vegetables were weird in that they were all sliced up and coated in balsamic and yogurt. Owner wanted us to pay cash so he took off cover but I paid with credit and he added it back. Black money? Owner seemed off to me. He didn’t even thank us. Will not return.
The atmosphere of the beachside is amazing, maybe the best I have ever seen so far. The dishes were not too big, pastitsio was a bit dry and not so tasty for us, chicken souvlaki was ok. Service was ok. Guests are farewelled with gift raki, dessert and candy.
Great place to sit by the sea and enjoy a delicious and lazy meal while staring at the waves splashing on the rocks. Very romantic; tasty, fresh food as long as you didn’t mind the wait. It’s family run and so popular that the family is very harried, but very nice. Well worth trying out.
