This was one of our favourite beaches that we visited in Milos! Small, peaceful and secluded with perfect water for swimming. There were only a handful of other people there when we visited in August. We didn’t have an issue with litter whilst there as per other reviews.
Sandy with small pebble and stones beach just right before arriving in the town of Mandrakia. As a matter of fact, you can park at the Mandrakia free parking lot and walk to this beach, about 10 minutes more or less, and you’ll arrive at the slightly steep, unpaved path going down; can get slippery towards the bottom. First week of August and it was not crowded at all – counted less than 20 persons total, including us on a Sunday afternoon. No amenities, no cafes, nothing whatsoever aside from this natural beach wonder.
My kids absolutely loved this beach. Perfect for young ones as the water was calm and shallow for several meters into the water. You can see the Mandrakia colorful syrmatas from the beach, and there is natural shade from the cliffs behind. My only gripe and why I only gave this 4 stars is the trash floating around the water. So unfortunate to see this ruining an otherwise pristine beach.
There is a short rocky steep path to get down to the beach from the road. The beach has no facilities and it is mostly sandy with a few rocks. Some natural shade exists close to the cliff.
My favourite beach I visited in Milos. Super clean, shallow water with lots of natural shade. We went on a day with little wind and the sea was so calm. We also went early in the day and were the only people there for a while!
We had lunch as Medusa (recommended) and came here after. Midday end of June, only a few people. Water was great in most spots, few had some stuff in it, overall we loved it. Ppl complain about trash but wasn’t really any in there so give it a try. Definitely seems to be an underrated beach. Go here to avoid crowds for a pure sand beach.
