On a gorgeous sidewalk covered by a canopy of bokamvilies. Nice atmosphere, waiters are kind and attentive. Portions are big but not really genuine Greek tastes.
Wonderful restaurant away from the tourist traps by the waterfront. Cozy atmosphere with overhead flower canopy for the outdoor seating. Service is excellent and staff speak English. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Serving size is appropriate to fill you up without being too much or too little. Great value considering the excellent service and outstanding food.
The location is fabulous in a little alleyway under a flower trellis. The waiter was extremely nice. The quality of the food was average in terms of fish selection. No catch of the day although we were in a bigger town. We were a group of 12 sailers and still could enjoy the traditional local delicacies. I tried myself the meat balls « soutzoukakia » and they were very nicely flavoured. If you are a fish fan make sure when you book in a Greek restaurant that they serve a fresh catch of the day and not only the little fried fish « picarel ».
The food was precooked and cold. Lamb chops were very chewy. The liver was the worst in my life. It was a but portion but not really edible. The music was really lame, not the typical Greek live music. The best part was the tsiporo (liquor) that came in the bottle. We reserved a table in advance but were seated in an alley. Worst experience on Syros.
A lovely family run, authentic Greek Taverna. Serves really good fluffy bread for the table (always a tell for the quality of the food!).
