This hotel needs to improve its customer service and learn how to treat customers properly. They took the car keys from our hotel room because they thought we rented the car from them (We did not). Regardless, if that were the case, it should be the person who rented it that returns it. The room service staff cannot speak English, and the reception staff’s English proficiency is comparable to that of a fourth grader. In my opinion, the minimum requirement for working in a hotel should be the ability to speak English. Personally, I will never return to this hotel and do not recommend it to others.
There is only one person worth commending at this hotel, and that is the woman who worked the evening shifts. She is very skilled at her job and even better at interacting with people, likely due to her excellent English-speaking abilities.
Very cozy and nice hotel with big swimming pool and beautiful garden! I was so lucky to get room with amazing view from the balcony to the mountains and olive trees. 3 times per day little bus was bringing guests to the beach, that was very comfortable. Special THANKS to all stuff (especially to Anka) for hospitality and welcoming attitude ❤️
Stayed there for 7 nights and this is my experience.
Really bad service, when we booked the hotel online it said that check out was at 12:00, we were shocked when the room service came and was fuming at us for not leaving at 11, i tried to tell her that in our reservation checout was at 12, but she she didnt care and was still very rude. Also she took my car key without us noticing and gave it to the woman at the reception!!! Was looking for my key for maybe 5 minutes before she told me where they were. The women at the reciption during the day is exceptionally rude! Yelled at med when i tried to explain the situation. Never smiled.
When we arrived at the hotel we were shocked to find out that we had to pay 5euros per night for the A/C.
Also they only changed the room towels once every 3 days.
Only good person there was a lovely lady kalled Kiki, she helped us alot during our stay.
For me good service can make up for alot of things, but this hotel have alt to improve on that front. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Where to start.:
Rude – were told not to drink the squash, that was left out all day, because it was only for breakfast.
Unhygienic – whilst vaping he grabbed ice with his hands and put it in our drinks.
Microwaved food
Lack of food options
Nothing if you have dairy intolerance.
Breakfast consisted of bread left out, yogurt also left out in the heat and a couple of jams and greasy croissants.
Flies all over the taps of drinks
Ants behind the bar.
Facilities:
Air conditioning was broken.
The toilet was broken so had to manually lift the cistern to flush the toilet.
Fridge wouldn’t work.
Lack of food
Lack of cleaning facilities.
No clean towels – have to pay for those
No toilet roll- had to ask for that too.
Stayed at Tivoli for a week in September. Had brilliant time with few friends
Hotel is great value for money. For 3star hotel it is really great. Room was spacious, air con worked perfectly and was really needed in hot September weather. Staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you. i only had breakfast once but it was nice small set up with great choice of hot and cold food.
You can order snacks during the day, anything from chips to pizzas and toasties. I really enjoyed pizzas and the prices are really cheap. Best iced late I’ve had in long time.
Pool is great and we never had problems finding sun loungers, even when hotel was full ( there was 5 of us)
Bed was really comfortable and Bathroom was new with really fluffy towels and bars of soap. The rest of toiletries you meed to bring with you but I am not surprised for the price 8 paid. I showered in mornings, evenings and sometimes at 3 am and never had problems with hot water. Always plenty of it. There is fridge and hairdryer in the room too, iron is on request.
Really close to Faliraki, and u can get shuttle mini bus to beach few tomes a week. Would really recommend using it.
There is bus stop right outside to take u to old Rhodes and other places, really cheap too. Or you can rent a car directly from owner of Tivoli, he has few.
Pool was amazing, for how hot the weather has been for months, it was cool and clean and really refreshing.
Cats and kittens were just bonus for me, make sure you bring some treats!!
Would really recommend to anyone.
Only suggestion I would have is to have don’t disturb signs in rooms, sometimes housekeeping comes really early.
