We read about Thomas Grill before we came to Kos and the reviews are right , the food we had was superb. Mixed Gyros plate. What you get is a plate with delicious flat bread portioned into quarters topped with both chicken & pork. At the side you have plenty of chips a bowl of fresh salad drizzled in honey & mustard and a small portion of tzatziki. Topped off with a couple of Mythos it’s the best we’ve eaten here so far. Highly recommended.
Went for a meal as this restaurant was recommended to us by some locals, our taxi driver and the hotel staff! Well I must say it was incredible the atmosphere was amazing and many people wanted to eat here!! We were lucky to eat here as we didn’t book a table (if you do go here then definitely book a table!!) it was only lucky that we got to eat here as it was very busy. The food was delicious and the portions were very friendly, I must say I was beaten by the food. We went on a Thursday which meant live music, the band playing was great as most people got up to sing along with them and dance which created a fun atmosphere! Definitely would recommend if you are staying near Kardamena
Had a really nice time at this restaurant situated by the water – the view’s fantastic, especially if you enjoy a bit of people-watching. The food and drinks were just great! We tried the “Mamma Mia” and the Mai Tai, which was served in a cool glass. Both were good choices, and we also enjoyed the Meze for two, with helpful recommendations from our waiter. Prices were more than fair!
Shoutout to Theo at the front, who’s involved with Cats of Kardamen. It was genuinely pleasant to hear about his efforts in taking care of the local cats – a sentiment my wife and I, as cat lovers, truly appreciated.

Good service, food appeared well presented, but was mostly bland. Had octopus to start, well cooked and buttery smooth, but no flavour. Also had pittas and dips to start, standard really, aubergine dip could have done with some seasoning. I had the honey lamb for main, lamb was quite well cooked (tiny bit overdone) and the puréed potatoes / mash were really smooth and well done, but again no flavour and not even a hint of honey. Partner had the mixed grill which was cooked well, chicken was moist, only bonus would have been if they had asked how he’d like his steak cooked. Drinks were good, the princess pea cocktail is very nice.
