Really nice place to visit if you like history. Be warned this is not a normal tourist attraction and is quite off the beaten track. It is possible to get there in a small car but not by all routes worth planning in advance or having a 4×4 or ATV.
Great beach! Really interesting seeing the old mine buildings and very cool that these are still accessible to the public and not blocked off as they would be if they were in the UK.
The beach itself is a lovely place to spend an afternoon – quiet, decently sheltered from the wind, with small soft pebbles which don’t hurt your feet when you’re walking barefoot.
One of the best beaches ever seen so far. Very suggestive beach in an ancient sulfur miner with old buildings still present and visitables.
Don’t believe to those who say you can only reach this place by a 4×4 or a quad. I got there with a fwd Nissan Micra without any problem. Of course you need to be a little bit skilled in driving.
Have fun here!
Really eerie place with some stunning backdrops. Despite seeing cars making the trip, unless you strive on adrenaline and possible long walk if your car doesn’t make it, 4×4 or squad-bike highly recommended. The road isn’t kept. I got stuck even on squad-bike as parked in deep gravel. The place is really different though. Worth the trip.
Fantastic quiet pebble beach with interesting abandoned mine ruins. Along the way I stopped at the ww2 German outpost which was an interesting site. Accessible by small car just drive carefully.
