This is not a 4*! 2* at most. We were moved to this hotel last minute. Says its been refurbished but it clearly has not!. Door handle hanging off the door, wallpaper hanging off walls, holes in walls, wires sticking out. Toilet does not flush. Family of 3 and we had one bed and a tiny sofa. No safe to put valuables. Pool was OK apart from parts of decking and screws sticking out, hadnt been cleaned as there was dead bugs all in the pool. Food was awful. Only good thing about this hotel is the staff, they are lovely and try their hardest considering the state of the hotel.
The rooms are basic, but there is everything you need. They’re big and neat. The swimming pool is nice and there is a bar (which is really nice). Breakfast is basic. The lunch and dinner are okay and various, but not culinary. The staff is polite. The location is fantastic. There’s a busstop nearby, the beach is 2min walking and there’s also a little city with restaurants and markets.
Go to this hotel. Enjoy greek slowcooked food, the spotless clean pool, large rooms and teraces. Meet the best staff ever, so helpfull, polite and warm. A very good rate of quality per price. The Aegean Sea is at 100 meters. You could rent a car, 30 euros per day and see all island, wich is majestic.
You could go in many cruises like to Symi or Halky islands.
The Residence is not
a modern or luxury hotel, but the staff make you feel at home, and that is priceless.
Worst hotel in Rhodes! I was there for 7 days and those were very hard days. where to start. to start the hotel is not 4 stars! rooms with bugs, mold, ants and poor air conditioning. no animation. pool without lifeguard and you can only stay in it from 10am to 6pm allinclusive and alcohol was missing at the bar, watered down drinks and drinks. cold water in the shower and in the bathtub. internet only at the reception. bar only open until 23:00. snacks are leftovers from breakfast toasts with cheese and ham. And the worst thing about the hotel is the food !!! still the same. what was not eaten for breakfast returned to us for lunch and dinner. food without spices. only poor quality eggs and steamers for breakfast. no soups still chips and noodles. and dinner is left over from the day. desserts not frostbitten hard inside Cooks hygiene is a questionable matter, apart from the fact that the cook smokes and does not wash his hands, we found hair in the food three times. the cook argued with us over the hair that it was normal and during the argument we found a male fingernail in the cake. after reporting it to the receptionist did nothing about it. no manager and no boss that would have any consequences for the service. everyone in the hotel staff wear masks EXCEPT the cooks! for them, apparently there is no covid. the offer was selected by the Rainbow travel agency from Poland. I gave them the first chance and the last. my first vacation where I was counting down the days to come back from that damn vacation. The resident on our arguments and complaints stated that the hotel is for undemanding and the
Very nice staff, good hotel, wonderful pool, very good coffee all day long, good food, big and clean rooms, the bar is open from 10 to 23 with good drinks.
It’s very affordable and I strongly reccomend.
