My wife and I spent our first 3 nights in Chania at this amazing hotel, a very straightforward airport shuttle almost to it’s front door.
A very warm welcome with juice and snacks whilst we checked in and a very detailed explanation of what to do in the area and all written down on a handy map!
We stayed on the 3rd floor and had breathing views of the old town with incredible views of the mountains.
The bed was super comfortable, the balcony was excellent, the bathroom was spot on, I can’t honestly fault this place in the slightest. We could have spent our entire holiday here.
Being so close to all the best restaurants makes it a top spot to stay, does get a little noisy at night but when you’re in the heart of the old town that’s to be expected, but with the modern sliding doors, you can’t hear a thing.
Highly recommend, really made us feel super welcomed and can’t thank the hosts enough. So thank you for everything
Really enjoyed our stay here at this boutique hotel during our 5 night stay in Chania. The room is spacious and well designed with plenty of floor space. The air conditioning is very effective, there is a body weight scale (which I found helpful on holiday). The complimentary fruit helped us when we did a day trip to Samaria Gorge and needed an early snack for the 5am bus!
The location is not too far from the main sites of interest, very close to a laundromat, excellent cafes and restaurants, and the main Chania bus stop that is walkable distance with luggage for day trips or going to and from the Airport.
The service was friendly and very sweet! Would come back again if we were to visit Chania again 🙂
I cannot say enough good things about Valia, the staff, and this property. What a wonderful gem in beautiful Chania! The friendliness and hospitality at Thallos made our trip to Crete truly special, and we will stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return!!

We had the pleasure of saying at Thallos Boutique Hotel for 2 1/2 weeks. It was by far the best hotel experience we have ever had. We felt safe and comfortable from the moment we arrived.
Valia was absolutely fantastic, she arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport and consistently checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was very clean and comfortable, it had well working air conditioning and a television.
The location is absolutely perfect, close to everything, yet still quiet and out of the way from the busier areas.
I couldn’t recommend this hotel more!
