We turned up after finishing on the beach and there was not room initially but we were offered to sit and have a drink by owners partner. We then had some of the best food from our two weeks staying across Corfu while we watched the sunset. Was a perfect last evening and it was a reasonable price.
This was our absolutely favourite spot to visit whilst in Corfu. Throughout our week of being in Corfu, we visited Taverna O Manthos 4 times for drinks and/or food. The menu item were super tasty, the views of the beach of the beach and the sunset were stunning, and the staff were very helpful. Make sure to reserve your table in advance as the location was getting quite busy by the end of our trip.
Spent a wonderful evening at Taverna O Manthos. We didn’t book (but some tables were reserved) and were lucky to get a table overlooking the sea and sunset. We had sea bass fillets and the special, shrimp linguine. The shrimp linguine was served in a large shell and it was beautiful. We would definitely recommend this taverna for its excellent food and friendly service.
Getting lunch here was one of the highlights of our trip to Corfu! I genuinely don’t know if I’ll ever be able to eat Moussaka again because this Taverna set the bar so high 😂😍 It was the BEST Moussaka ever!
After lunch we were looking to go to the beach and we realized that you can rent beach chairs right from this restaurant! (at a really affordable price) We spent our afternoon swimming and enjoying this beautiful corner of the island.

Don’t be turned off by the seaweed on this side of the beach, the water is usually clear and even some ok snorkeling near the port when there are no waves.
