Such a great dinner! The people working here are warm and also very professional. We felt like all guests were getting equal attention. We didn’t have to wait for anything and the food was really tasty, fresh, and homemade. We had house wine with sea bass and wrapped wine leaves, and got a dessert on-house which was really nice 🙂
If you are in Samos, Pythagoreio you have to visit the best Greek Taverna. It is located far away from the noise of the port. Good vibe, nice atmosphere and the best food we ever came across during our visit in any of Greece islands.
We were there 7 times from 9 days. The restaurant is kept tight and very clean by Ana and managed together with Spiros. What you order on the grilled is made there on a charcoal grill. We ate the best octopus, and the best calamari. Fresh fish is fantastic, we got one time a barracuda, that was the best. There are two waiters, that are very kind and skillful.

Located on a silent street close by the city center. All the fried seafood were quite good, salads and mezes were also at the same level except the grilled octopus and kalamari. They were on the chewy side. Tasty but the texture wasn’t like what I was looking for. The sun drying practice somehow makes the octopus firmer and less juicy. I can easily recommend the place for their mezes, fried seafood and grilled/fried fish. Warm staff is a big bonus.
Last time I was there 2019. Today 24.7.23 still a lovely place for fresh authentic Greek food
