Nice tavern overlooking ocean. Fair prices, good food. Fried zucchini was excellent, and fries were not frozen! The tsipoura was great! My son enjoyed his meatballs! This plate can be shared if your child has a small appetite! Worth 2 visits at least. Order ice cream for dessert.
We stayed in Drios and this was by far our favorite restaurant on the island. They have tables right by the water and it’s not super busy which gives it a more local feel. The food was delicious and fairly priced as well (if you get the Greek salad, you must have it with the local soft cheese instead of the feta!) The customer service was also amazing, we really fell in love with the place. We even had to come back before leaving Paros because we had such a positive experience on our first night. Highly recommend!
Julia’s served us by far the best taramasalata of the trip. Perhaps the best I’ve ever had.
Their Greek salad was good too, made all the better by swapping out feta for some tasty local soft cheese. Sardines were also excellent (though the fact their heads were removed says a lot about the type of tourists coming to Paros these days).
The only disappointment was the octopus, which was too firm to be enjoyable. Shame because it was fresh and well presented.
Service was excellent and you won’t find a nicer sea view.
Great food and great service. We had Sea Bream with Imam Bayildi, which where on today’s specials menu. Also had the Fried Anchovy, which comes with a lovely olive oil and lemon sauce. Our waiter was also very kind. The restaurant also has a nice view of the ocean. They also served us a small desert on the house at the end of our meal. We couldn’t leave a tip by card, this option would be nice in the future. Overall loved the food and the atmosphere.
Simple made greek food, traditional recipes, no spices here, neither oversalted food ( old trick to order more wine and spirits). I had the sardines and ampelofasoula, greens of the summer season both was delicious, I liked the french fries mostly because it was fresh made and not frozen. This place looks like a time capsule, it has the simplicity of the taverns in the 1980’s and an astonishing view. Very reasonable prices for a place that it is next to an amazing beach and it could overcharge the plates only for the location. I hope it stays this way for a lot of years. Highly recommended!
