  1. We were right on the water the closest I have eaten to the beach (in a restaurant) and we are Aussies! The zucchini balls were delish and the feta crumbed in sesame seeds with honey! The octopus was cooked perfectly and we were given complimentary baklava which was amazing! Would definitely recommend. The White House wine was lovely too!

  2. Wow! 🤩 we were lucky to arrive and there was a table for 2 available right away. This taverna is paradise, right in front of the ocean, the staff is absolutely incredible and kind and most importantly the food is high quality fresh and delicious! Also we got free dessert which was a great detail we will remember! Thank you and i will definitely come back 🩵🙏

  3. Is it worth the hype? Yes! Is it worth the wait? hmmm

After seeing this “hidden gem” on tiktok I forced my Family to get dinner there. The Problem: plenty of other People had the same idea! We waited more than 1.5h!!! No sunset dinner for us… So if you want to go: be there early, or come again another day!

The food was actually really good!! The calamari were soft and tender!

  4. Sadly. I’m not sure the hype. Wait was 20 minutes Monday 8:30pm walk in they don’t write down names so make sure you take note who you’re after. The service was slow and the grilled octopus was overcooked, flavorless and no spices. If we’re to order again, I’d get the Glafakos Salad (so delicious), we enjoyed the Grilled Shrimp, and the Muscles and fried calamari looked delicious. Sorry but the grilled octopus was bad and the grilled sardines meh. I hate the bones.

  5. Please take the octopus off the menu.

We are a greek-american couple, with a Greek surname, recently married who had a reservation. This restaurant had come highly recommended and had a lot of hype on tiktok but I think circumstances have changed and it no longer lives up to its reputation.

We were offered 2/5 available tables for 2 people. Neither of the two were on the water or ideal. The tables are close together so when the 4 top next to us had their post dinner cigarette we should have taken that as a sign to leave. The location and ambiance is great, on the water, sunset, can’t beat it. But the food was lacking. The zucchini ‘balls” were actually fingers (no picture because at the time it wasn’t worth it and we didn’t think we’d be leaving this kind of review) and once you cut into them a sea liquid engulfed the plate. We also ordered the dolmades and Greek salad which were both delicious, however our main course is the reason for this review. We have had a lot of octopus on our trip/life and this was inedible. It was clearly pre-frozen and cooked far too long. You could barely cut it with a knife and you’d strain your jaw by chewing it. We told the staff and they were kind enough to take it off our bill. Once we went home we read the reviews and it’s clear this is a recent trend so be advised and order something else. We also heard the waiter tell the table next to us that the chef wanted them to know that the fish he prepared for them might be “too salty”.
