We chose this hotel based on reviews and a favorable price. Our experience was really pleasant from the moment we arrived. It is a family business that is already owned by the older owners. The room was really clean, the bed was comfortable and the overall appearance of the room was modern and cozy. And a really good atmosphere was created by the owners, who gladly and willingly helped you when you needed advice on something.
The disadvantage is that the hotel is located at night on a really dirty corner of the street where noisy motorbikes and cars with loud music were driving. But you could get used to it. We were missing a dish towel in the room and some decent slicing knives in the kitchen. Sometimes there was very weak pressure in the shower and it was very difficult to shower.
Despite these objective shortcomings, I give the accommodation 5 stars for a really good price and my admiration for what the owners were able to build, but unfortunately they are also old and do not have so much energy to take care of and keep the hotel in top condition. This hotel would be really great, but it lacks young blood and energy to take care of this precious family heritage
Very sweet people! Room was really nice. Good airconditioning. Clean. Nice bed. A 10 minute walk from the beach and nice restaurants. Straight across the hotel is a supermarket.

The beds are a bit hard but you forget that with the polite hospitality and the cleaning is very good…we had a good stay and for that price we recommend it tremendously!! And just by 15 min walking down to the beach its a good location if you don’t mind walking a little bit……
Great location. Near market and small shops. The rooms were clean and cozy. Kitchenette had all the needed amenities. Warm, friendly environment. The owners were gracious and accommodating. Made excellent coffee. We really felt welcomed.
Nice hotel with very friendly owners. We stayed in beautiful room with nice view, everything was clean and new. Good location, close to the beach and center. I recommend Hotel Takis to everyone and I am sure I will come back again.
