After reading all the negative reviews I was scared of going to this hotel. But truth to be told, this hotel went above and beyond of my expectations. The room was nice, new and the air conditioning was working perfectly. The food tasted good. I could see that the french fries were not frozen and were made fresh. They even served some Greek good, which was very good. Wifi was working at the beach side also. The beach itself was a bit rocky, but after speaking to other tourists, this hotel has the best beach and entrance to the sea. Its only 10 minutes to Lindos if you take the bus. The staff was very helpful and nice. Overall I was very pleased with my holiday. Thank you!
Quantity over quality.
The hotel rooms are really small – family rooms that we asked for were basically a single queen size bed and a single bed (that was falling apart as it was poorly assembled) head-to-head and floor space for one open luggage. But yes, enough for getting a comfortable sleep.
The rooms were renewed and looked nice, compete with stylish sink, but! Shower hose already rusting, tiling cutouts done by an apprentice with a dull circular saw, not a single hook for towels and bathroom so small that one person had issues to fit in.
But you do not go there to sleep and shower, you want to be on the beach, having some fun in the sea. Well, the water is pristine, beach is covered with pebbles and although unsuitable for building castles, the sand is relatively clean with just an occasional cigarette bud. Sadly, so not expect to get your own lounger unless you take it up early; remember, quantity over quality.
And after all that swimming in the sea and a clean (but slightly salty) kid pool, we get to the major pain point of the hotel – food and beverages.
Staff seems to be trying to do the best that they can, but hard to say why, they seem to have foul ingredients at hand. Drinking water is salty, the only drink you so not seem to notice that is coffee and diluted red wine. All other soft drinks have significant salty aftertaste.
Variety of food is overwhelming, and you almost always get something to calm down your hunger, but you will start to be a picky eater. Contrary to other reviews, vegetables were always present, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, leaf salad… Add olives and you get a great light meal every time. Pasta was available every meal. But keep away from the chicken nuggets if you don’t like fried cardboard.
And desserts were not a thing at all. If you have a sweet tooth, go somewhere else, you will be miserable here.
On the other hand, if you crave something that is not on the repeating menu, there is a wonderful small shop in the complex that is actually not overpriced and will satisfy all your ice cream and souvenir needs.
Our rooms were spotless but everyday ants came in under the patio doors. The location was great right on the beach, it’s very pebbly and rocky. It’s a good idea to bring beach shoes to get in and out the sea.The food was simple but nice and plenty of it, it’s repeated throughout the time I was there so it can be boring. There are public bus stops outside the hotel which can get you out and about fairly cheaply.
I am writing after 7 days of rest in this hotel. I should have read the comments before buying the tour. Unfortunately, they are quite relevant. But in order about everything.
Staff: Very smiling guys, always willing to answer, they clean the rooms very well, wash the floor every day. New towels on request, but without any problems.
Location: Directly by the sea, nice beach, few rocks at the entrance to the water, but not too harsh.
Rooms: Clean but old. With partially broken furniture. The doors and windows are old, the gaps are huge and, alas, they do not hold back ants. The photos are not at all the ones that were shown on the website of the travel agency, but those that were in the photos I found in Google photos of the hotel across the road.
Food: Alas, this is terrible. All the meat is most likely frozen, often its taste was strange. For example: French fries were already served sluggish, and the meat was poured with a huge amount of sauce. As an alternative, you could take pasta, but again, the taste of the sauce is very mediocre. The only thing that was not so bad was something that the cook’s hands did not touch – vegetables – they were simply cut and that’s it. But even then, when hard vegetables were brought, they were served.
Drinks: Alcohol is paid, free alcohol is not bad, but most likely almost without alcohol, who is fine to drink 5-10 liters of wine or beer for the amount – they will be satisfied, by the way the taste is empty (especially beer) but it cannot be said that it is so bad. Drinks are served in old plastic glasses, by the way, at breakfast there were often not enough cups for coffee. But this is not scary, since coffee from a coffee machine tastes like instant coffee very diluted with water.
Attention! If you travel with children, there is nothing for them at all. No entertainment programs, playground and other things. We should need to went to a nearby hotel for kids playground. The kids pool is small and cold
I had to look for where to feed myself and the child, they entertained him in a nearby hotel. If you go to the beach, turn right and walk to the end about 700 meters there will be an excellent fish restaurant, but the sea is close and the beach is clean
My wife and I spent a week here at the end of May. The hotel itself is a lovely family run hotel. The rooms are cleaned every day and the towels are changed every other day. The location is great and right on the beach, you may want to bring beach shoes as the beach has lots of pebbles. There is a bar on the beach and this is the focus of the evening entertainment also. The only thing letting this place down is the food. We were all inclusive, but planned to eat out a couple of nights anyway, 1 to eat local authentic food and 2, put some money in the local economy, away from the all inclusive. In total we ate out 3 times. The food had very little choice, was always cold and there was no description as to what the food was. I get that all inclusives recycle food into other dishes, but green beans, chips and mayo cold does not work. All in all this place is worth the money and we did have a lovely relaxing time. Just be aware you may need some extra money for eating out. Special shout out to “Tony Adonis” who works tirelessly behind the bar and made our stay all the better.
