We were looking for authentic Greek food because we got tired of the touristy restaurants on the beach. The food was delicious as the mom makes different dishes every day “chefs special” and they still serve what’s listed on the menu. We got the feta in the oven, lamb in lemon, rolled stuff beef and banoffee (not on the menu). Food did not disappoint!
Horrible experience! There are way much more friendlier and better restaurants around in Mykonos other than this one! Avoid at all costs!!
There’s one sweet young tall waitress who spoke English very well, and another bad tempered very grumpy waitress! Unfortunately you’ll be seated by that lady and you’ll need to order through her and also pay to via her… apparently she owns the place and her mother cooks, because she was very offended when the table next to us didn’t really like the food that was served to them!!! Poor couple they were mortified by her response telling them “oh how dare you saying it’s not good, it’s my mother cooking”, but the truth is… the cooking is basic and not that tasty to the price you’ll pay!
We reserved a table before arriving for dinner and the woman whose responsible there was very snappy and not friendly at all, we really felt as if she was very upset that we arrived and showed up on time, it wasn’t even that crowded there… so we didn’t understand what was going on! We waited almost 20 minutes to be seated!!! Yes 20 MINUTES!!! while she was jumping from one table to another back to the kitchen and running around and pretending that she is super busy! Trying to not make eye contact with us, Claiming that they were “preparing” our table! Which btw the table was free! 20 minutes to prepare a table that was empty in the first place!! She Didn’t say sorry nor gave an explanation why we had to wait!
Anyways, we thought okay we are here, since the restaurant is kinda far and remote to other restaurants and off the main road! so we thought let’s try the food, maybe it will compensate for the attitude and the waiting!
It wasn’t special at all, I really regret going there, very basic food and not worth the €79 we paid at all! Be careful read the bill before they charge you cause I’m sure when we ordered the prices were absolutely different to what the bill is! Of course much more expensive!
Not recommended! Never going back there again!!!
This is a really lovely family run restaurant. Most of the food is either grown in their garden/raised on their farm. Every day there are different specials on top of the regular menu. Everything we tried was so delicious and our waitress was such a sweetheart. Felt like a true, authentic experience. Thank you so much 🙂
I cannot speak highly enough. If you aren’t a local you probably don’t know this place. We went 3 times on our trip. Family business. All fresh items. When they are gone they are gone. I’m Vegetarian and ate very well here. Sadly they don’t always have gigantes but they do have a great black eyed pea salad. The zucchini balls all the best I’ve had anywhere. So light.
Beautiful little restaurant/house on the main road to the beaches! Amazing food… it is only take away or order and eat in their beautiful garden! Great great food! 😋😋😋 thank you Stasi your dishes are super delicious! And the sangria is good but super strong lol 😅
