Highly recommend Spitia Vasili. The staff are so warm and helpful, the location is absolutely perfect, the views are breathtaking and the rooms are freshly renovated so are very clean and comfortable. We stayed 6 nights and wish it was longer. We’re planning our trip back to Kythira asap and will definitely be staying at Spitia Vasili

Vassili Houses are in the ideal location. It is next to the sea in Kapsali and close to the country.
All rooms are light and airy and have a view.
The room we stayed in was fully equipped with air conditioner, fridge, TV and some kitchen items.
But the most important thing is cleanliness. The rooms are very neat and clean. There is a lady who comes in on a daily basis for cleaning and tidying.
As you can see, a renovation has been done which has been combined very nicely with the traditional element that existed before.
Finally, Katerina and the staff of the rooms are very friendly and smiling, always available for anything you need, with an appetite and passion to serve us and make our stay even better.
We have recommended it to all our friends without reservation and hope to come again.

The accommodation was in a very nice location with a very nice view. But that’s it. The room was relatively clean but its age was visible in several places. Apparently it was shut down and re-opened recently. The air conditioners were old and ineffective and the most important thing for me is that there are no specifications for the accommodation to operate when there is a water and electricity cut (which happens quite often in the summer, as far as I understand). The owners with respect but the effort was not enough to solve the problems with the water. The neglect was visible everywhere for this and the price was satisfactory, but this is not enough for a good holiday. At the moment it was an option so much, in the future it might become much better because the specifications are there.
We stayed at the property for 4 nights. First I will talk about the people who were extremely kind (big thanks to Mara) and helpful and we thank them very much for that! We stayed in two rooms. One small but served all our needs and the second quite large with a beautiful view. I must not forget to mention that the rooms were spotlessly clean and very quiet. There is definitely room for improvement, nevertheless the accommodation is value for money! Very close to the country and next to the beach in Kapsali. Keep up the good work!
