We came here durin July 2024 and it was overall a very good experience. They have shuttle services to the Faliraki beach free of charge. The rooms are big with balcony. The pool is good and breakfast was delicious. You can buy stuff you need from the below market. We liked this place it was a comfy stay for us
Whilst checking in we were given the keys to someone’s else’s room, as we checked in late the couple were obviously sleeping so we had to go back downstairs. We received our new room keys and upon entering the room the electricity was turned off, so I found the fuseboard myself and turn on the electric. The room was around 500 degrees when we entered, after trying to get the aircon to work we went back downstairs again to where the „receptionist“ gave us a remote from another room (we didn’t know we needed a remote because no info was given at check in) the fridge room 2 days to cool as the electric was off the whole time it was not occupied. On our last night we returned to the room with no shower curtain or rail, it was just missing. As we didn’t trust the place too much we asked the housekeeping not to enter our room for the duration of our stay, this was done regardless. We had ironed all our clothes for the whole stay and hung them n make shift hooks (as there was nothing to hang you clothes on) these clothes were then threw onto the small table, completely creased. The rooms look absolutely nothing like the photos, the shower is an absolute joke. The furniture is old and the air conditioning is so loud, it drops water in the room and on the balcony. People may say „yes but it’s 40€ a night“ regardless it’s nothing like the description and the service is non existent. I wouldn’t recommended this hotel if you’re looking on a place to stay and relax during your trip to this amazing city.
Nice hotel, everything you need is availible (airco, Pool, fridge, nice balcony with a view, small supermarkt, ..)
Nice and friendly staff.
15 minutes walk to the beach, or you take the shuttle of the hotel (3x/day)
Busconnection next to the hotel tot Lindos and Rhodos.
Nice Pool, next to the street but the sounds were ok.
The hotel can use a little bit of freshness. But we had a nice stay. Budget and stay were good! Ideal stay as long as you are not expecting tó fancy! 😀
Very kind and friendly staff, admittedly the hotel is a little old but it serves it’s purpose. Family run establishment.
There’s a shuttle to the beach and back 3 times a day, there’s a car rental at the hotel, there’s a minimarket where you can buy some basic snacks and water. Located 20 minutes on foot from the beach, a small part of the trip you have to walk on the side of the road (no sidewalk for around 300 metres) next to speeding cars. My wife didn’t enjoy that aspect. A possibility of an airport shuttle, which we took advantage of. Communicative English.
Nice and clean swimming pool. Good breakfast – homemade by the staff, and affordable, and even though it was repetitive we liked it. Rooms are a bit old, but for this price bracket were fine (admittedly we were on the renovated ground floor and overlooking the mountains, not the busy road). A/C was paid extra but we had it in our booking, so it didn’t surprise us. There’s a possibility of eating dinner here at an affordable price, too, but with so many restaurants in Faliraki we felt spoiled for choice anyway, and didn’t use it.
Bed linen and towels changed regularly every 2 days, and the rooms were kept clean. The fridge was a little noisy and the tap kept dripping water, but we got used to it by day 2. We had goats visiting our garden once.
All in all I recommend this for a budget trip and I wouldn’t mind coming back.
A good hotel for its price, but not without tricks – air conditioners available only for additional 5 euros per day. Situated 20 minutes of walking from the nearest beach but they provide free transfers 3 times a day. You can also Rent a Car right here at the hotel – the prices are probably the best on the island! A supermarket is also located on site, which is very handy especially if you arrive late in the evening. The suites are equipped with kitchenettes: plates, cups, spoons, and forks are included, as well as a fridge, and electric pot and stove, but no microwave. There is a nice pool by the hotel, a billard table, a BBQ place, and a bar with tables.
