Let me start by saying there is a lot of walking but we expected it. The staff is beyond phenomenal! Krystal helped us every step of the way. She is amazing & made our stay extra special. We were there celebrating my daughter’s birthday. She was able to book a photographer within a few hours, decorated & even provided a birthday cake. Another employee that stood out is Taka, who works at the pool bar. She was also very kind to us. These ladies made us feel like family The breakfast is delicious and affordable. The manager helped us with our dilemma upon arrival. DO NOT USE THE TAXI COMPANY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE PORT! They totally ripped us off. The packed 18 passengers into the van & charged $35 per person. They dropped us off in another area 5 miles from the hotel. We called the hotel & the manager helped us & even spoke to the new taxi driver we flagged down to ensure our arrival. I recommend to arrange transportation through the hotel. He also gave us directions to Oia and saved us money. You can take a bus for 2 euros or it’s a 20 minute walk. It wasn’t that bad. It was definitely an experience for our girls. The rooms are extra clean and the beds are comfortable. Our girls loved the cave pool. We were sad to leave & wished we had booked a longer stay there but we were island hopping. Thank you to all the staff at Sophia Boutique for going above & beyond for us.

The commication with the host is poor.
Property is REALLY hard to find.
I messaged them to request pick up from airport, no answer. Messaged for directions, no answer. If you are expecting guests and your Property is hard to find, should be paying attention to messages.
3rd day of stay we woke up with disturbing noises, walls, floor shaking. The Property next to us were doing renovations. Poor management of the situation from the host, telling me that is low season and they all do this kind of work. Our all morning was ruined and couldn’t enjoy a peaceful breakfast.
Cero anticipation to guests needs, had to be always messaging them to ask for thing and They were taking long to answer. For example, last day when we came back from a tour at 10pm I had to messaged her to ask how was the procedure for check out because no instructions were giving and we were leaving next day at 8am.
Door’s locks are old and rusty, hard to open and close them.
Poor lighting on the way to pool. Second day came back at 11pm and wanted to use the pool facilities but the lights were not working So we couldn’t enjoy it.
Where to start, the destination is beautiful, the hotel is super clean, food is absolutely amazing and the staff here are so kind and always go above and beyond to help you. The view is unreal, it’s just far out enough that you miss all the people and loudness of the local town.
Amazing! The views, breakfast, location, and staff were awesome. My mom and I were so happy with our stay. The staff were so kind especially the bartender, front desk lady during the day and at night. They were able to arrange massages in our rooms, ordered us food to be delivered, and answered so many questions. The view from our room was great and this is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for somewhere low key, but beautiful. Breakfast was beautifully laid out every morning and we will be back!
