We’ve been here twice during our stay on Rhodos. It is a very cute typical Greek taverna with a good amount of choices on the menu. The service is amazing and staff is very thoughtful. On both occasions we got a piece of cake on the house after our meal, which the waitress baked herself. The food good and very flavourful. Only downside I can think of is its location near the road, without a nice view. Would definitely go here again!
Lovely small place to have a traditional Greek diner. We were welcomed with a big smile and had some (free) homemade desert after finishing diner.
Location is not that special but the service and the food is. Would love to come back once.
Best wee place. Was just down the road from our hotel. The prices are reasonable and the food delicious. All the staff ask is you be friendly. Which isn’t hard to do, they have a small staff and a wonderful atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone. I would also recommend the gyro pizza to you won’t regret it!
We stayed in Rhodes for 2 weeks and visited here 3 times. This was “our spot” as we called it lol. Food was amazing and the service was outstanding!!! Can’t recommend this place enough!! If you want a traditional authentic Greek experience this is your spot!!!
If you charge 15-20% more for your food than many nearby restaurants it should be better. Or the location and setting should be. Unfortunately it isn’t.
We had mixed grill for two, saganaki, gemista, salad and a few other things. All fairly ordinary. Apart from the gemista which was overcooked beyond recognition and not really edible or enjoyable in any way. Unless we wanted baby food.
We complained about the gemista dish charge – but the owner just sat smoking with his friends in the restaurant barely looking our way when we discussed this. Kind of arrogant.
We won’t be back. Other notes:
– Don’t get fooled by the “reserved” signs on the tables. They’re there to make the empty restaurant look busy. Yes, laughable. They removed them when we entered to get the tables (we didn’t “reserve”)
– The dry red house wine is very sad (alcohol flavor, not much else)
– The waitress is very friendly and makes the sad interior at least a bit welcoming
