  1. We had a hard time finding this house, where we stayed for 2 nights in total. There is a church in front of it and navigation takes you there. When we asked around, even though we showed photos of the house, no one recognized it and there was no news about it. We asked someone at the bottom of the house and he didn’t even know. After plundering the area around the church, we realized that there was a small house in a blind street right behind it. Even the sign was very vague. In the meantime, we went back to the car we parked way downstairs (because cars cannot go down that street, the streets are incredibly narrow), took our suitcases, and went up that hill again, going crazy in that heat, with our two little children. We knocked on the doors of other houses one by one and asked who the owner of this house was, thank God it was the lady in the opposite house. We were welcomed very warmly, the house had everything needed for a family, the cleanliness was good, the sheets were ironed. But the house was old and gloomy, there was no veranda or balcony to go out to take a breath. We put a chair in front of the door and took a breath. There is air conditioning downstairs and a fan upstairs. The house is adjacent to the church, and the sound of bells was very disturbing. Since we were not used to it, the children woke up early in the morning in panic, wondering what was going on. Since we decided to go for samosa the day before and did not know the location, we made a reservation without researching in order not to be left out when we arrived. We were saddened that there were much more beautiful places when we left, but what was done was done. When making your choice, I recommend you to choose places closer to the beach, or even stay in Vathy, a stagnant city where there is no life in general, in the Pythagorean or Kokkari region.
