Very nice place good service and everything’s good. But the staff in the reception will not let you go if you try to learn Greek. My dad fell in that trap and they said if he didn’t learn it they will come to Denmark and learn danish. To prove if they can learn you can. But it’s a nice place. And jokes aside they are very kind and friendly and ask how your day has been👍
First off the staff is extraordinarily friendly and attentive. Everyone from receptionist to service in the restaurant as well as the cleaning staff were amazing. Rooms are simple yet very clean and have everything one needs.
The food was simple, for an all inclusive offer I found the buffet quite small and not all that great. However if you are not too picky I guess you’ll always find something.
The pool bar (included in all inclusive) offers a lot, if you want something like an Aperol spritz however you‘d need to go to the second bar which will charge you extra.
The location is okay, I would recommend to get a car so you can explore Samos as Karlovasi itself has lots of abandoned buildings and not too much to offer
Very nice hotel, I stayed over for a week and I really liked it, there is a wonderful pool in the middle (1,2m-2,25m) with a kids pool on the side of it (0,6m).
There is a nice little shop with souvenirs on the right side of the lobby.
I really enjoyed sitting inside nearby the bar and listening to the music and having some drinks.
Hotel is a scam!
General things
1. Wifi is VERY BAD in the hotel rooms, at the pool side you don‘t even have any connection. Wifi works only in the lobby
2. When we arrived there we found two cockroaches in our bathroom
3. The Gym is awful, the few equipment is very old and also quite nasty (there are stains)
Our so called „all inclusive experience“
we booked the hotel with all inclusive but its NOT WORTH it!
1. You can get free drinks at the pool bar with all inclusive but the drinks are VERY VERY BAD. They don‘t mix their cocktails by themselves, a machine does it for them. The Pina colada tastet straight up like dog water. There is also a real bar inside the hotel where you get some real nice drinks but you have to PAY EXTRA for them. Which is a scam in my opinion. Also you can‘t normal espresso at the pool bar. You have to pay for it at the real bar inside.
2. All activities are included and you can attend them all but it‘s not very that special. In general at night time the hotel is boring and quiet.
3. We thought with all inclusive you can order or get food whenever you like. But that was not the case. You always have to wait until its lunch and dinner time. Or else the hotel restaurant is closed. Food was okay but the staff was really nice
Still don‘t go there you‘re also in Karlovassi, and Karlovassi is dead at night and even in the weekends. Its very boring there and everything is quite far away
We had a great time here. The staff was always welcoming and helpful. The room was great. Varied buffet with great food. The hotel is starting to feel a little bitt worn out. Karlovasi is not the most exciting town, but still places to see.
