Wonderful, modern room. Quiet location, near the ramparts. Comfortable bed. Nice shower. Super friendly owner. We were in the Lindos room, which has a small balcony overlooking the street, and is up a flight of steps. Small kitchen area with a coffee maker.
The only glitch was slow WiFi, but that should be fixed by the time you read this – the owner has ordered a fix just before we got there.
Right in the old town. Perfect location. Mesmerized by the apartment style. Was Better than expectations. Everything is nearby and it’s peaceful for a great sleep
Very nice host. Affordable prices. Nicely furnished studio. Very close to the lively area, but at the same time very quiet. We also enjoyed spending time on the small tables in the patio, having our breakfast and feta and ouzo in the quiet evenings:) you climb through the old town, as it is located by the seaside and its geography is like that, and studios are at the top.
Nice host and strong hot water. But you want to be sure which type of room you are getting it. I have booked this because of balcony. However, I did’t get the room I booked for, it was on downstair with no balcony and quite noisy every morning some working is going on and room is quite dark.
Outstanding stay in Old Town Rhodes. Stergos is a great host. Friendly, funny and helpful. The location is fantastic. It’s basically a quiet, little extension of one of the main streets of the old town. Peaceful, but within a minute’s walk you find yourself amid the hustle and bustle. The room we had was a lovely second floor apartment with a huge terrace right next to the wall of the old town. AC was chilly and welcomed in the heat of July. All amenities were provided and in good working condition. Anything not there could be provided simply by asking Stergos. Only place in Greece where you can put paper in the toilet! Tap water is perfectly fine to drink. No need for all the plastic bottles. Would definitely stay here again.
Note: The steps from the kitchen/bathroom area down to the bedroom can be a bit tricky to navigate in the middle of the night.
Word to the wise: make sure to contact Stergos before attempting to take your luggage to the studio from the port on foot! Highly recommend.
