The Odeon is kind of randomly located next to a street but there’s this pathway leading to it with gates so you’ll know when you reach it. I went really early in the morning so I was the only person there and I’m not sure if they do anything here anymore. The steps are a bit steep so if you plan on climbing beware of that. Definitely a cool place to visit if you have time in Kos.
A great place to visit. Free. Parking nearby. Lots of interesting things to read inside.
Nice to go and visit if you are nearby. Free entrance and a fascinating look inside.
Walking distance from our hotel Gaia, stayed about 20 mins, it’s somewhere to go rather than a bar. It’s OK but don’t expect to be blown away, unless you in to that sort of thing. Most things in Kos are walkable you can easily combine it with a walk round Old Kos.
If you’re in Kos town don’t miss visiting this place, there are lots of historic places and ruins around Kos town and the island, and unfortunately quite a few are overgrown and can only be viewed from outside (in Kos town especially). Being able to walk into this Roman Odeon and stand & sit of the steps and look down at the stage was excellent, you can really feel and imagine the history, and it is an impressive place to just stand/sit and take it all in.
