Great hotel, adults only ..right on the beach. Very good service, food was very good with an excellent choice with themed nights…hotel has 3 pools…if you want relaxation go to the pool next to the la Carte restaurant. The hotel and rooms are extremely clean… We had room 308, which was lovely, and the balcony had a Seaview, although it was classed as an inland view. There is a private beach and beach bar which are part of the hotel, this can be accessed via a tunnel which runs under the main road to the beach. The hotel is handy for the old town of Rhodes and also Monty Smith acropolis
Location on the beach with lots of bars and restaurants in short distance. Old town on foot 15 minutes. Bus stop right outfront. Staff is outgoing and friendly to the maximum. Hotel is spotlessly clean. Staff even clean the public sidewalk and streetlights across the road. Ample supply of tasty food at the buffets. Nothing to criticize? Paid review after all? No: I don’t like the bright light in restaurant and lobby. Juice and coffee for breakfast aren’t good. Had the included wine on tap for dinner. Horrible. Would repeat stay here any time, though.
Twin beds are small, air conditioning doesn’t work effectively. Over booked so had to spend our 1st night in another hotel. Restaurant and bar service is excellent and food and drinks are of a good standard for an all inclusive. The main areas of the building are very nice and have good pools and beach provision. Some silly ‘rules’ like pool closes at six despite a further two hours of good light at this time of year.
TUI rep wasn’t available when we arrived or aware of 1st night situation, and was of little help so don’t see the point of booking it as a package tour. Certainly won’t use TUI again, ever. Adult only hotel which was a deliberate reason for booking and did make a positive difference to my holiday.
We stayed here May 2023. The weather can be a bit blowy, as it is early season. We stayed here for 11 nights,. in the Belvedere Block. The hotel is very relaxed and ran with precision. Customer service is priority here. We were happy with everything and the choice of food, is absolutely incredible! Getting a sunbed by the main pool area, can be tricky in the morning (same as everywhere we have visited). We have considered returning to past hotels but never have. However we have booked a 14 night stay for here again!
I stayed here for a week in May. I do not believe it warrants its 4 star rating, and wish I had booked somewhere else.
If you are a vegetarian, listen to the other reviews (I wish I did!) because I ended up eating only chips for lunch and dinner every day. Bread was stale, and ‘vegetarian corner’ only had chicken soup. Any elements which were vegetarian were add ons to meat e.g chips, rice, unseasoned/overcooked vegetables. It caused so much stress to our holiday, I thought being in Greece I would get some lovely food! I was told by the restaurant manager that no deserts were vegetarian so I couldn’t eat any of these for the full week.
My partner is a meat eater and he said all food has no flavour, and he only ate chunks of meat and chips while here too. I also found hair in my food quite a few times.
Buffet restaurant in the morning was so busy and overcrowded, and the restaurant staff would turn the lights and music off while we were sitting in there to get us out, eventhough we were still within the lunch/dinner hours.
The ‘burger bar’ and food throughout the day consisted of cling film wrapped sandwiches, none vegetarian, and no warm food. ‘Homemade’ icecream was certainly not homemade.
The drinks themselves we thought would make up for the food but this was deeply disappointing too. No fresh juice, all sugary concentrates. I asked for a mimosa and got cheap awful tasting spirits and Fanta (when advertised as orange juice). The cocktails were sickly sweet and I could only manage them for a day. Wine was pretty dreadful too. The Vap beer was the best of the bunch.
Overall not a 4* experience I had saved up for. I gave TUI feedback, and they said because I had not raised these issues to the TUI rep or the app chat, (eventhough this was raised to the restaurant manager) nothing could be done. So if you have any issues while there make sure you have a paper trail!!
