Great food, daily fresh fish, incredibly polite people. Prices are great compared to the market, about 20 per person, appetizer and wine included.
Greetings, friends. I want to share my impressions of visiting this tavern. We found her by accident. And very satisfied. It is a cozy place that welcomes visitors. Interesting interior. Delicious home cooking, large portions, reasonable prices. The price fully corresponds to the quality. Friendly staff. Fast and quality service. We ordered moussaka, grilled tuna fillet, vegetable salad, Lefkada salami, broad beans and baklava. The baklava was divine. At the end, we were treated to watermelon and ravani. Which is very traditional and very nice. I recommend everyone to visit this beautiful place.
An authentic tavern of an always kind family, a place where we felt at home offering us accommodation! The food is very tasty, the portions very large, good prices and we always received dessert or drinks from the house. I recommend with all confidence!🥰
Typical Greek tavern
We had a more than pleasant surprise at The Koutouki tavern. I had the best fritto misto of my life, perfectly made, not drowned in oil, fresh, delicious. They only had fried squid and fried shrimp in the menu, I said I would like a mixed one, one portion was 10 euros, the other 12, they brought me a portion of squid & shrimp for the price of 12 euros. I appreciated very much. My husband took spaghetti mixt with shrimps&mussels in tomato sauce – 14 euros. A fresh lemonade with honey-2,5 euros and a beer was 4 euros. The cost for everything was 34,5 euros. They brought us a cake and grapes from the house and they wanted to give us limoncello, ouzo or mastic, we said no, we were full.
The service was fast, the waiters were kind, they brought the food quite quickly. The atmosphere is of a typical Greek tavern, simplicity, nothing fancy, but the taste of the food calls it back to the fullest. We are happy to recommend and will be back. Congratulations for the good prices and good food!
I’d love to give 5* because the staff and the little extras (appetizers and delicious small cake!) were lovely however the main wasn’t quite as good as I’d hoped. The stifado seemed to be made with a million pickled onions so most other tastes in the dish got lost, but the beef was beautifully cooked and the chips were delicious, I just wish they were served separately from the sauce to escape some of the pickleyness! The meal was great value for 3 of us and nearby to our villa.
