A bar we’ve frequented since 2000, the decor and furnishings change regularly but George, the owner always employs friendly staff and it’s always service with a smile. It’s a large place so needs a lot inside to maintain an atmosphere but the place is rarely more than a third full. When we came her 20 odd years ago, the place was rammed, not the case now but 20 years ago, Anissaras wasn’t loaded with all inclusive hotels. Maybe it’s busier in July and August?
The best calamari that I ever ate! All the food is great! Veal stew is also awesome, very tender and juicy! The waiters are very friendly and helpful! Clean and nothing dubious even for me which I am picky! Take away food is also available. Prices are decent and quite cheaper than at the other restaurants in the area. Definitely recommend this place!
Had a nice pizza to share, drinks were good. Really impressive inside, Plus nice view of the beach.
Place was simply a rescue when in need for a bar to watch live my beloved Liverpool f.c while on vacation in Crete. Local draft beer was also pretty cool.
Great views, very welcoming, live sports channels on. Large drinks menu reasonably priced. Great food menu and friendly staff that make you feel at home. Kids area and games . You can really relax here.
