9 May: This restaurant offer nice panoramic view of the caldera. Very good and friendly service folks too even if we’re just there for a drink. This corner of the street is a little distance away from the main crowded street. Can see the blue dome from here.
11 May: We came back here for dinner. The dishes didn’t disappoint.
Just a little pricey. The waiter somehow tried to push us to order more perhaps they needed more business because they are located off the main square..
Anyways, this is a good restaurant to catch unblock view of the sunset on a good weather.. 🌇
The two stars I give all goes to the view.
The food was terrible- worst we ever had in Greece; price was insane based on the quality of food and service. The two of us spent over 120 euros just for the view and some bad food. The octopus was so salty that I spit it out the first bite. Not worth it.
The service was minimal. The waiter and waitress tried hard to sell their most expensive stuff and when they failed on their sales, they changed faces. We didn’t feel any sincerity or hostility that we experienced in elsewhere of Greece.
Disappointed.
My review is two stars strictly for the view. We visited this restaurant for lunch and started by ordering a glass of wine and a beer. The wine was priced at $16 and was maybe 3 ounces, possibly less. When I approached the waitress about this, she brushed me off. I don’t mind paying $16 for a decent sized pour of wine, but this was literally 3 swallows. We ordered pork souvlaki. It came with only one skewer of very tough meat and 3 tiny potatoes. This is a tourist trap that has a pretentious atmosphere. It was the worst meal we have had in our 8 days in Greece. I would definitely avoid this place if possible. There are plenty of excellent restaurants with sunset views in Santorini!
The restaurant has a beautiful location with an upscale feel. The prices were high compared to other restaurants. I enjoyed the lamb dish. My daughter got the chicken dinner and unfortunately within a couple of hours, she became violently ill vomiting and diarrhea. She had food poisoning from her meal. It was definitely from this place since she only had a light breakfast. It’s unfortunate that she was sick towards the end of our trip. I hope the restaurant looks into the freshness and quality when serving the public.
