The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and equipped with a kitchen. Child-friendly, quiet, the old town of Malia is close by. The bedrooms are comfortable and clean. Bed linen is changed once a week, new towels are brought twice a week. The pool is unheated, but very clean and beautiful. One apartment has a balcony, 2 double beds that can be converted into 4 single beds, a kitchen with a stove, refrigerator and dishes. The toilet was very okay, the shower pressure was normal. There were no soaps in the kitchen and bathroom, but they were very cheap in the shops. The food in the bar was very good, the prices were average. If you want air conditioning, it costs 70 euros per a week. The overall impression of the hotel was very good and we enjoyed our vacation.
Girls Holiday – Real Palace is a truly wonderful hotel! Manos and the other staff made us feel so at home and nothing was too much trouble. The food is made fresh to order with produce grown on site, and the drinks selection is brilliant! The location is also perfect to have some quiet but also only a 20 minute walk to the old town and main centre. The rooms are safe and secure and very clean. I couldn’t recommend Real Palace enough!
Outstanding hotel, good location if you want somewhere near Malia, just a short walk, but is quiet at night. I’ve stayed in hotels on the main strip in malia, and it is noisy until 3 or 4am. Staff were friendly, rooms were very clean. If you get a balcony room, you will get a great view of the mountains or the sea
