  1. Wow! Spent a wonderful few hours here eating, drinking and just enjoying the scenery as the restaurant is literally by the sea.

The food was incredible, one of the best (if not the best) steamed mussels in white wine sauce I ever had! Cocktails were really really good also.

The service was incredible also, all of the servers hold conversations with professionalism but with a healthy dose of sincerety and passion which is often lost in fancy restaurants where the interaction can rather turn cold and precise.

All in all, wonderful and definitely would visit again! 10/10

  2. Fantastic atmosphere, food and service. My favorite food is the grilled octopus and the ouzo flavored shrimps 🙌 The deserts was not as good as the food but still okay. It’s often fully booked so make a reservation and maybe you get a table next to the sea. Best restaurant we visited on Crete.

  3. This an absolute must if visiting Crete. The water is crystal clear and the temperature was perfect this afternoon. All the salads and appetizers are shareable for three people. We shared hummus, Tuna tartar, muscles, and bread. The Ribs came to the table as a full rack and enough food for two. The Sea Bass was delicious. A full bar opens at 6pm, but they still serve local beers and wines. The late afternoon was finished with a complementary chocolate cake dessert serving for four, topped with pistachio ice cream and served extra dish with individual vanilla ice cream scoops. Enjoy!

  4. Great location on the water, very friendly and accommodating staff. We (my mistake) showed up 30 minutes earlier than opening time and they still showed us a table and gave us water while we waited.

The food was super delicious (the cod burger was great, definitely recommend) and we enjoyed our lunch here. We always have a great time in Crete and this place just added to that on this trip.

    Thanks again!

  5. Enjoyed our experience at Prima Plora! We had the grilled sea bass, the fried calamari and a pasta with shrimp dish! All were great. The location and the view were exceptional. The prices were reasonable and the servers started slow but were attentive near the end. I recommend and will return!
